Good job man. You got over that "over/under watering" stage, super quick. It took me forever to figure out the schedule(but I'm slower then others LOL). It looks like you got it down.

That plant is looking phenomenal. I mean, sure like you said a little nute burn. But what's wrong with that plant? Absolutely nothing IMO.

Just keep her happy and healthy until the finish line, you got this. :D
Appreciate it @CosmoGrows !! Really giving it a good try :) My gf thinks i love the plant more than her 😅

So one thing i have been doing against manufacturer suggestion is the light height. I noticed that the heat from my LED light is not hot 5"-6" away, so i have the light right at 6" away from the tallest cola. That cola has some "taco" leaves but the rest of the plant is enjoying the higher intensity it looks like..

When it comes to run off, since my EC is high and plant showing signs of nute burn; is it a good idea to push more water through the soil to wash out some of the excess nutes?

This is something I'm going to learn from too, as I am having a hard time feeding my plants. I'm interested in hearing the answer. As I just burned my plants, my plan was too water with normal pH balanced water, till run off. Then next water, lower the dose by half the ppms I gave it last time. Of course, that's my plants. My point is, I was going to just lower my dose. But after feeding it just normal water. At a normal runoff ratio. Instead of just drowning here with a huge push of water.

But who knows if I'm correct, I can't wait to hear a response to your question myself, I'm in the same exact scenario and nutes I'm new too.

So it was time to water and i did a plain water pH @ 6.1 ( a little bit higher than what i have been giving 5.8). PPM of the water was 78 and EC was .175

Tested the run off and was really happy, it was EC 1.745 and pH 6.1. So the run off is back into normal ranges from EC 3.2

I don't see how "washing" the soil with clean pH balanced water could hurt, essentially you are just pushing the salts and excess chemicals out of the soil right?

Thats exactly what you do. Its called leaching or flushing the soil.

Or if they are still healthy just feed water only until the ec comes down.

100% BS... under HPS maybe but I never had red or purple stems under HPS, same strains under Intense LED's make stems red & purple depending on the strain. There is nothing any Cal, mag, nitrogen, P or K will do to fix it under led. I feed mine much more calcium under white LED's & I get the most red & purple stems, but its nothing to fret as the leaves tell the real story & there is no cal deficiency with my plants... but what is a magnesium/calcium deficiency is what I circled in this pic
I also thought this was Mg or Ca deficiency from the RO water, but now I think it may be light burn from LED. The heat isn’t bad but I think the light concentration is too strong.

what do you guys think?

They look great, that little one in the clear plastic cup. Roots will get burned from the light.
Thanks for the info! Next time i will use a red solo cup. What is the best way to transplant it into a bigger pot? For now i think i will cover the sides of the cups with paper to block the light.

Yes just taping a couple layers of black garbage bags should do it, or just set it in a drilled out non clear cup of similar size.

There's probably many opinions on it.

What i do is fill my new pot around an empty cup, water my young lady well in the solo cup and plop it in. Ill water in a spiral around the new medium. Not soaking it just adding a bit of moisture for the roots to seek out.

I'll water lightly a few times before full saturation and flush. You should be able to tell when they are ready to handle it if they stay heavy a week its to much. Drying out in a couple days is optimal.

No they actually look a little overwatered in those cups. Give it a bit until they start growing vigorously. Once they dry those cups out quickly from drinking they are ready.
I actually think they look like that because I have the humidity so low in the tent right now for the flowering plant. I read that baby plants actually get most of their water from the leaves and not the roots. I really need to separate them from the flowering tent bc of the humidity, just don’t have a place for them at the moment.

So water the plastic cups before transplant and try to pull all soil and plant out as one?

I don't disturb the roots unless rootbound.

Pretty stoked about this! Def did not expect results like this on my first try! All of the credit to this board, really good info and great people!

What do you think this yield might be? There are 16 colas and I believe 2-3 weeks left until harvest. Ordering a pocket microscope today...
