In July of 2019, two prominent Chinese virologists, including one of the cofounders of the ebola vaccine, and their Chinese students were expelled from and barred from reentering Canada's only level 4 lab, the NML in Winnipeg, after they sent samples of henipavirus and ebola to China in 2019. If it didn't come from bats naturally, I'd bet that it came from the lab right near the epicenter. Occam's razor.

The CCP has a habit of pinning events that are happening in China (or Hong Kong) that run contrary to their "official reality narrative" as being the fault of "western agitators." They also have a habit of rampant IP fraud and surveillance. So I don't exactly trust their government.

Not that the US, Russian, or Iranian governments are trustworthy (😄), but the CCP has a long history of coordinated disinformation campaigns and no freedom of press to correct the government's lies. Let's all remember what didn't happen on April 15, 1989.

Yeah, the encryption thing is huge. There'll always be ways to communicate with anonymity, but that's really fucked.

alot Of people “waitstaff” are going to go broke today. Most don’t not claim cash tips so when the unemployment check comes in it’s going to be 1/10 of what they normally make.😳

We're buying gift cards to the local places we like. The risk is they go under, but we're going to be okay, so it seems worth it for a few places around us. It's essentially loan if you think about it.

For Michigan State, utility bills extended. Any due bills for power and Comcast gets extended. Best to get locked in now with out service interrupt.
Basically 2 months of free service.
Me, I'm calling everyone. Banks, creditcard, mortgage,insurance, everything.

Mass transit closed for the day
Gm plant workers got it....it's over

Save the cash for survival.

Meds are gonna shoot up in value.
Having meds is no different than having gold bars.

So is GM shut down? If so, I can see us being next. In my eyes, its the right thing to do right now.

Not yet. Yesterday the unions were saying why not shut the plants down. Then this morning, they reported the first Victim at the plant
That 1 person at the plant probably spread it to 1000s indirectly
