And you are working at the local food pantry? ........

Yes, tommorrow morning I make a run to Wal-Mart to pick up food then head back to meet regional food bank semi at our assymbly.
Wednesday is the food bank day.
We only had about 200 families last week, down about 30%.
Interesting to see what the count will be this week.
We don't let them come in the building now.

Was just at the gas station. Mrs mmg went in with hat mask and gloves and waited for most of them to leave so she could have personal space. Not one other customer even practiced any distancing. They are not worried. I am.

Well, you didnt notice that I quoted a coupe of your posts. Look at the post I made that you just quoted. Why would you be eating and partying in a place that is packed with people and then go work/volunteer at a public food pantry?????

Freedom is being removed right before you eyes, wake up people! before its too late..

Italy, France, Spain, Portugal all extending lockdown of there citizens

USA: The lockdown affecting large segments of the American public to try to curb the spread of the flu is likely to last 10 to 12 weeks, or until early June, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Sunday.

And what's next? forced vaccination?

What would you suggest?

Most people are all too ready to trade their freedom for fear. The saddest part about that is that they in turn become the fearmongers. Positive vibes...

Similar story at the store earlier. I had gloves, mask, hat. And others didn’t have anything. Mind you I’m 31. These idiots were mixed ages, like nothing is going on in the world.

The attitude of "it hasn't happened to me, so it doesn't exist" is the most frustrating thing to see.

Everyone should take precautions as if they have it and are asymptomatic. That's literally the only way to stop the spread.

The governments (both US and Canadian) not having enough masks for everyone in the country to have 100 right now is ridiculous. People in Asia have been sounding the alarm about how bad this thing is for months. Countless videos of people collapsing in supermarkets and crematoriums running 24/7 for weeks. We've known that masks and eye covers need to be worn by healthcare workers since Li Wenliang recounted his story in December.

And this is just the first wave. Taiwan and South Korea are starting to deal with the second wave of corona now.

After having a long conversation with a nurse I no that works at a local hospital.

the biggest concern here is the hospitals overflowing like they have in France.
With the overflow of patients the hospitals will have to turn away patients that need to be hospitalized and put on a ventilator to keep them alive long enough for there bodies to fight the virus, if there bodies can survive the struggle.
As I understand it this virus is 2.5 times more contagious then the common flu.

the first patients came in at her hospital on Tuesday, there were 5.
The next day 10 more were diagnosed and admitted and 1 of the 5 died that day.
Currently there have been 50+ admitted, she did not no how many deaths.
That’s just one hospital in the valley I live in.
She is a ER nurse at ST. Vincent’s.
One of there other biggest fear is the doctors and nurses contracting the virus and spreading into the hospital population and killing more people with weak immune systems.
