Happy Valley Nevada is in the North (Washoe county)
if you mean Happy Valley Ranchero..the place looks a bit pricey to be a shithole..but I have not been back to S. Nevada in a long time.

I know of South Nellis Blvd in the city of LV (again pricey area), but I didn't know that Nellis AFB had shithole living comnditions for the military..again..never been back there.

Haven't been back in a long time..and have no intentions to visit.

But back to reality..we were talking about China Vs LV being a real shithole..from what I can fathom..there is no comparison..I would take LV any day over anywhere in China.

Las Vegas is NOT filthy and never has been since I moved there in the mid 1970's. I'm sure that there are areas that leave alot to be desired, but that's true everywhere in the USA.

Vegas was so conscious of people being stranded after losing all their money; that they offered free bus tickets to anyone needing a ride home (that was 20+ yrs ago and I do not know if it is still true)

Vegas is a little New York or Frisco, has visitors from every corner of the globe with all their stuff.
My little bro lives there, nice neighborhood etc. Nasty town.

I love Las Vegas for five days a year at T.I.,,see a couple shows than make our yearly visit to "pawn stars"in a part of town not many tourist visit unless theyre looking to pawn something(evern cars). Ive bought some jewelry every time there which makes each trip special.Only met Chumley once,sold me a $150 SS ring fo $75

That's what happens to tourists that think that they can beat the casino. Their jewelry becomes easy pickens for locals with $$. Then there are those that think that they can beat the poker players..LMAO..I bought a Rolex down there 25 yrs ago and sold it for 3x the price the next week. You can buy just about anything in a pawn shop in Nevada.

Like I said..for some reason many tourists take an instant asshole pill before geting off the planes..and it shows! LOL

You should see them in the Reno dispensarys and now closed casinos....easy pickens!

That individual is already running for re-election, and probably has been told that he needs to get back in control (of his MOUTH)..no matter what the cost in human suffering and lives..Not to mention the BS about reusing masks etc..DANGEROUS TIMES for those that listen to the baloney!

My best Vegas story, i’m walking out of the Flamingo mens room and spot cash in the trash can, 10 $1s and 2 $20’s. Gave it to the passed out junkie on the bridge.
