Yes we're not far from Total socialism here in this state anyway, so you'd probably like it I guess, if you're into that, good luck!

If you wait a while I have a feeling the real estate's going to go way down here if you're thinking of moving to this utopian dream, so maybe hold on a minute before you buy a beach house here, probably get a better deal in a few months

I don't mind visiting MA, but I have zero interest in living there. I'm not into socialism or anything like that. But I will stop there so there's no violation of the "user agreement" - "TOS".

Right now, the value of my house is still going up, but I'm not foolish enough to think it will keep doing that if the market collapse. What I would really like to do when I retire is become an expat ... but I don't know where to go. My preference is somewhere that is always 75 degrees LOL.

Next best thing? Head north to the U.P. It's still the USA but there's not enough people around in some places for that to really matter.

Any DIY ideas that can be done cheaply to provide a visual barrier? I can grow outside if my plants can't be seen by my neighbors.

Eventually I will be buying privacy fence. I was going to do it this summer until the virus hit ...

Lucky, even if I had outside space I couldn't do it because I cant put a lock on it, lock required in MO

I can swing a hammer and build something if I really wanted to.

My dream is for the day to come where we don't have to ... where weed is just another commodity and something everybody grows every summer just like peppers and tomatoes. Might not ever happen but it would nice if it did

Well I don't know if facts violate the user agreement? I'll have to go read it again, thanks for pointing that out

Regardless, you're cool and it's all good. And you're certainly entitled to believe what you do ... And you know what? It's still all good!

I deleted that I guess you're quicker than me LOL but to your point I don't believe it I live here friend I know it

.. it's hardly a secret, we have a socialist Senator to begin with so what aren't you getting? forget about it good luck

I thought that was Vermont. I guess I also don't know. lol

Edit: I don't read much news about New England states. I do read a lot about Michigan, national, and international news ... but I try to stay away from "influencer" type news sources.

Edit # 2: I also will read the first paragraph of an article. If I am not interested after reading that much, I'll move on to something else. LOL Might be why I am not current on MA news.

Thailand has lower cost of living and better medical care than the US for retiring Americans...

I would also love to see everybody grow their own and not get price gouged by taxman or the risks from the blackmarket.

girlfriend & I been screaming for a couple weeks about a Nationwide shutdown, seems like they would have done it a long time ago & gotten a better grip on this sooner

cuz we're going there anyway but they're doing it in choppy little sections, & meanwhile it's spreading everywhere

she said that the way they're doing it is like having a designated peeing section in a swimming pool! 🤽‍♂️🏊‍♂️🤣😂🤣🙋‍♂️🔫🐒

Problem with that is eventually the whole pool is polluted. Great way to explain it....

Heading out for a bit. Essential trip ... dog is limping ... heading to the vet.

They will come and get him at the car. Take him inside. Then return him when he is done. No one other than employees are allowed in there right now. - under current conditions, I am A-OKAY with that ....

That would require either being surrounded by honest folks or us to teach idiots to grow successfully. 1st option is best but more unlikely than 2nd, you wanna teach 1st class? 😋

Honestly, I do better work with steel. I turn a lot of nuts and bolts for a living.

Fortunately, there are pre-fabbed wall studs so building it in steel is actually very doable.

Lol, got me, never once thought of steel. I can build greenhouse myself (dad used to rehab apts before he became truck driver, only thing I refuse to do is lay carpet if I can avoid it lol, & truthfully I still get a little nervous when dealing with main breakers or 220s)

Just about ready to go. He's acting strange. Something up with him. Limping and not eating his canned food (treat). I will know soon enough.

This dog has a kamakazee streak in him a mile long. So much so, that he has his very own credit card. (I only use it for his vet bills.)
Our vet has the same policy..Even though I have used the same vet practice for yrs, each time I have to go (3 dogs), I always read the release to make sure that they can't do things like anesthetize the dog without my DIRECT consent.
Too many young and new vets at the practice these days, not to be very careful.
