DHL just arrived. I've got 2 of my 4 boards. It says partial delivery. This part came through Cincinati. The other part coming through Chicago. One would think it would have been cheaper to ship together ... At least I can get started tonight with the new lights. I'll be looking for the rest of it tomorrow ....

My order was expected on Thursday ... it looks like it will all be here earlier than expected.

In other news. Happy with how California and my county in general is taking this. 500 cases and 14 deaths. We Will Recover.

I heard California responded aggressively, and early ... and that is why California is going to come away in much better shape than many other parts of the country.

That's good news for those who live or have family/friends living there.

I am pleased, thus far. I live in a relatively large housing track, well populated and many are staying in. Everyoneā€™s, for the most part, wearing masks in public and trying to maintain 6ft. Hope the best for all!

That's unhelpful.

"Threads or posts pertaining to religious or political discussions meant to incite or flame others will be closed and/or deleted. THCFarmer is an international site attracting members from a multitude of religious and political backgrounds, so in favor of harmony and unity, rather than division, it is best to stay on the topic of this site... cannabis. There is a forum for law/politics as it pertains to cannabis."

None of that answers any of the questions I asked.

This place seems to be a forum where people can post insane conspiracy theory videos that will likely make THCfarmer liable for a lawsuit later and not have them deleted. Are those not inciting? What makes them different from someone noting the effects of a foreign policy?

Like I said, I'm trying to understand. It seems the definition of politics here seems very much based on the whims of whatever mod is reading the thread in question.

Threads keep going off topic because the TOS are unclear. I'm asking for clarification so that I don't break the rules in the future.
Depends on how far you want to push it.
Common sense should be everyoneā€™s guidelines when interpreting the TOS,
But common sense seems to be lacking if you get my drift:)
Ainā€™t pointing at no one!
Just a general observation.
One thing peeps should ask them self

It's not expanding rapidly in the county I am in. In fact, a detail that sometimes misses the headlines here ... most of the confirmed cases in this county are medical professionals who have been on the front lines. More patients here have been shipped to the open bed than the cases that have originated in my county.

My source - My sister, RN ... involved in taking care of people on the front line. She says being on the front line doesn't bother her as much as it does some of her coworkers. Why - this is her calling in life.

When I attempted to go to Loweā€™s and Home Depot this weekend people are growing weary, it was horrible to see the crowds mingling.
Itā€™ll bounce back if peeps donā€™t keep it up!
Only takes one bad to make many:(

Thanks! Like I said, I'm not trying to push the boundaries, just understand them. It's an autism thing, I was literally born without many people's definitions of common sense. šŸ˜„

So it's generally okay to mention things that are happening as long as nobody is trying to make their opinion more right than everyone else's or being an asshole about it?

In my area, when I see crowds in the store huddling together, it's usually the employees. I think many people have a false sense of comfort ... "if I know you, you must be safe" type of thing. That in and of itself will lead to more infections - Not treating everyone like they could be a potential carrier. So much of the spread has been caused by people who didn't know they were sick ... or thought they weren't sick enough to have the virus.

False sense of security is killing people.

The last couple trips to Lowes and Wally world, all kidding aside, I saw fear in people's eyes.
Of what who has a clue?
There is an entire bucket of crap a person could find anxiety in.

+1! Neurotypicals can be hard enough to decipher IRL. Being online makes it that much harder.

SERIOUSLY! MFers and their ability to read body language don't know how easy they have it. I had my first public meltdown in a long time a few days ago and have just started to get back on track from it. Autism + PTSD = a haunted brain. šŸ˜„

I can cram encyclopedic knowledge of things I'm passonate about into my brain and regurgitate it on demand, but put me in a room with seven people I don't know and one will be angry within 15 minutes and I likely won't understand why.

Yup, I see it out here too. So many people over 60 just walking around outside with no masks, like their personal belief that the media is exaggerating the flu risk is enough to protect their lungs from filling up with pus and blood until they die. Willful ignorance is a scary thing.

Right now, I don't have a choice about a mask. They aren't available in stores, and the ones from online are supposed to be here on the 8th and have not shipped yet. I may have to break down and make one.
