Politics and religion are a divider among all of us. I leave my beliefs and opinions at the door when I come here. This is our place to help each other not divide.
Political and religious statement in general can be fine to a point but generally will escalate and end up Badly for a thread to continue.

Very well said!! Time to have my first puff for the day and then go take the dogs for a walk. Its nice to see people in my area following the social distancing guidelines when I am on my walk. When I get back I will be helping my daughter make masks to be donated.

I think the original intent of freedom of speech was to say you can't get arrested for the things you say. However, yes, there are limits ... it seems like not too long ago, a girl was convicted of murder or manslaughter (not sure which) because she told her boyfriend he's be better off dead (simplified version here). The court convicted her ... so yes, there are limits on the freedoms we have.

Whether you think that was right or wrong isn't what I'm pointing out. I'm pointing out that it happened. Draw your own conclusions on what freedom of speech really is and means.

I have a fresh box of a hundred of the blue ones, I bought them last November for $6.99 because of asthma I use them when I mow my lawn, vacuum, mix soil what have you! Got a hundred nitrile gloves on a Friday for $11.99 and by the next Monday it jumped to $82.50 for the same box of gloves but they were already out of stock

imho flu is a real and present danger. this puts people in carts. 1. first responders/health providers - 2. leaders/scientists -3. general john q publik. each group has sop's they need to follow, and even then the germ will find a way. all the actions of the 3 groups will greatly affect the outcome. but it turns out with this bug, the first two groups have their hands tied, in a manner of speaking. WHY? you may ask. well, the first two groups are at the mercy of how seriously group number 3 takes this issue. the majority are doing the right thing, some not so much, as cops were clearing 'gatherings' all day in my neck.

so, those who have time to look for divisive shit during a time like this, are not trying hard enough to better themselves, their home, their relationships, its just business as usual, taking a shit on everything, and contributing very little to the overall benefit of society.


the disease is the great equalizer, noone is immune, you and only you are responsible for how healthy you and your family come out of this, both physically and mentally.

It was pretty obvious you directed the snowflake comment at 1diesel. But instead of explaining yourself you got mad and made another post about GOD that had to be deleted also. There was around 40 posts after that before the thread got locked, so you had plenty of time to explain yourself.
