Cool .... sounds like heaven , i think when i first joined here a few months ago , your post about sailing around the small islands and getting away from the world was one of the first i read , i didnt know or think i might later join an active conversation with you , like we do now....I edited my post above

Hey MIM , your natural environment / home sounds like a slice of heaven also , sorry guys , spent most of my life tn concrete jungles , and as i move away from that now , i just keep wondering what beauty our countries have to offer ......

Ill post a pic of my 9 am breakfast.....guess what it will be ....
Same man. Its laid back here, but it lacks that culture thats you only find in cities, big time. It's funny, I'm right near Dirtbag and hell yeah it's beautiful here but there are absolutely elements of the concrete jungle that I miss (pizza! hip hop!). Especially on the days when it's more difficult to leave the house. It's definitely a "grass is greener" situation.

Last time I was out there everything closed at like 8 or 9 pm. Now we're talkin!.... lol Ummagumma --- "A Saucerful of Secrets" & "Careful with That Axe, Eugene" Awesome album. I didn't think there were any REAL Floyd heads out there. Most start with "Dark Side of the Moon".
Thanks for not making me fell so OLD!

Yeah I'm a city slicker... Well in terms of being used to everything being open 24 hrs a day. But like @Kanzeon said it is freakin beautiful out there. They have what they call island time... No joke when they say it's laid back there. It's like hippies all dressed differently lol.Sounds like this little town. Even the bar will close at 10 if nothings happening.

Damn I'm getting old. I have had all those in record form. ;-)
Ditto: I have everything before "Shine on..." in record form as well" also have an original Beatles Black & White album & and 2 original Funk 49 (one played so often the needle will often skate if i walk around the room while it is playing (only one turntable is suspended). I still own two record players and two 6 foot x 3 foot steel file cabinets full of vinyl.
However my all time favorite Rock & Roll album in my collection is still my copy of "street survivors" with the flames over the heads of the folks that would later die. I had just purchased the album the day before the accident. I never opened the album. I went and purchased another, by then the cover had been changed.
I have several "collectors" items but this is the only one that is 100% un-opened.

I grew up in the jersey suburbs near philadelphia. I could never live in a place like that again.
