It's funny, I'm right near Dirtbag and hell yeah it's beautiful here but there are absolutely elements of the concrete jungle that I miss (pizza! hip hop!). Especially on the days when it's more difficult to leave the house. It's definitely a "grass is greener" situation.

Same man. Its laid back here, but it lacks that culture thats you only find in cities, big time.

Sounds like this little town. Even the bar will close at 10 if nothings happening.
Yeah I'm a city slicker... Well in terms of being used to everything being open 24 hrs a day. But like @Kanzeon said it is freakin beautiful out there. They have what they call island time... No joke when they say it's laid back there. It's like hippies all dressed differently lol.

I grew up in the jersey suburbs near philadelphia. I could never live in a place like that again.

Damn I'm getting old. I have had all those in record form. ;-)

Ditto: I have everything before "Shine on..." in record form as well" also have an original Beatles Black & White album & and 2 original Funk 49 (one played so often the needle will often skate if i walk around the room while it is playing (only one turntable is suspended). I still own two record players and two 6 foot x 3 foot steel file cabinets full of vinyl.

However my all time favorite Rock & Roll album in my collection is still my copy of "street survivors" with the flames over the heads of the folks that would later die. I had just purchased the album the day before the accident. I never opened the album. I went and purchased another, by then the cover had been changed.

I have several "collectors" items but this is the only one that is 100% un-opened. 🥂

Wow. I remeber that too.

My dad had an original copy of The Wall with the red brick cover. I never saw it again. It went to the white cover with the movie animation soon after release.

My favorite album cover was Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson. Cleaned a lot of brick weed on that one.

And Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. With the bed on the front one way and the back all demonic.

I miss album cover art as much as progressive rock and metal.
