So you are recommending a fan that you are using as a backup? Usually a back up is something people use when the primary goes out. Amazon has your recommendation with 11 percent of the responses says it is a one star. But you want to recommend for a new grower to use. That is messed up, here this guy jumps on the site for a recommendation and you want to steer him towards junk. Poor guy is going to think Ok it is good to buy. Why not just tell him the truth, you are using it as a back up and it really is not so good. Let me guess your primary is a metal 100 dollar job. Sound more like you are trying to steer the guy in the wrong direction, worried he is going to out grow you !!!!!
HA HA Newber the joke is up. Now go get back in your little sand box and kick rocks!!!!
My fan are ok i was in hunt for cheap light. Lol thanks man I hate to be steered in the wrong direction. Glad to see someone will speak out and let a guy know. 😁

I should not have hijacked your thread I am truly sorry. The reason why you do not want one of those Amazon light is because the information they are provide is largely not true. I recommended something that is may be outside of your price range, I was in no way shape or form trying to mislead you. I have had those Chinese lights and I do not support their practices. Take the light you are looking at and google it. Odds are you will get some information about how great it is. But make sure and look at the address on the website. It will be some odd ball website. The point being they will create bogus websites and reviews to see their products. The spider farmer or king write are both good entry level lights. I know they are more money and maybe you cannot afford that right now. But how are you going to feel when the light you bought is not going to perform the way you expected and you end up having to upgrade. I was just trying to save you the time, money and headaches. Your best bet is to stay the off amazon.
Here is one of my experiences with an in expensive Amazon LED. I needed veg light because the ones I had that were also China made took a dump after 6 months. I much like many others jumped on Amazon and at the time Bestva had the best reviews. So i pulled the trigger. Well I am at work one day and I get a text. Light is on my porch. I look at the picture and I realize something is wrong. Box is too small. I wait tell I get home and I unpack it knowing it is not going to work. But I purchased it off Amazon so I can return. I tried it and it was a POS. I returned it to Amazon and got my money back and I wrote a bad review on Amazon. This is 100 the truth, the manufacturer reaches out to me and says hey if you change your review to 5 stars we will give you your money back and you can keep the light. They tried this 2 times and it was not until I told them I was going to report them to Amazon that they backed off.
I know it is exciting to grow and all, but if you really cannot afford a 200 on a light maybe you can try growing outdoors or something. I do not like to spend money twice or 3 times on junk and I am truly trying to be as honest as I can.

Hey man trust me I'm not upset by no means . But I also know how stuff is on Amazon but also being new to the growing my own I thought maybe there was something out there that work for someone and could get good advise to what to purchase for my budget . But honestly the more I read and learn what is needed for a good grow I'm learning your right really is no cheap way to go so I'm gonna save some more and go the right way . To be honest with you I did order one light already cheap yes said 75 watt not knowing shit but it said grow light for all steps of growth cool just what I need I thought . Got it and book said 45 watt my flash light is much brighter . So it's going back . Not gonna make same mistake of can help it . But thanks man for being open and honest .

well if he had 4 lights he might need a bigger fan, with one cmh, 210 will clear more than a 4x4 tent... so for my grow, its backup, for one light it would be the main source of heat removal and fresh air

@Anthem the worst person to get advice from on the forums.... not only because he likes to argue even when he is wrong, but because he is a douche

Had a vivosun 4" and it lasted 2 months. Now I was running higher humidity so maybe that had something to do with it or maybe it was a dud... Idk.

One thing is for sure if you go budget you going to be throwing money out the window because you will not get the results you want and will eventually upgrade. So if your good with that then nothing wrong with doing a budget grow.

Honestly you light is where you don't want to skimp. If you can't afford good led then stick to HID. Either CMH or HPS. I would say CMH is the best bang for buck with HID but that's just my opinion. Air exchange is important so if you can get the best fan you can afford... If that a vivosun 4" then so be it but I would say there is a bit more of a risk in doing so than other brands.

Agree in principle @Aqua Man , problem with going hid means adding environment controls and that's an more bills.
For what he wants, if he can get a 200w blurp with a fan, it'll do for his needs: and he can prolly get one of ali-etc/ebazon for about 60ish of your finest currency (£/€/$) more or less like the on he asked about.

Almost everyone here trying to want to convert OP.
He gave his budget and asked a question.

For that plant, for that budget, it'll grow you
some grams.
More 'actual' watts you can buy the better (and that 1000w one up there: is 70w at most (doesn't need a fan, ain't more than 100w for sure!)
I got a great 200w from Ali express for same money (but v risky and shit if it goes wrong!)
Good luck.
You can do a 125 watt qb for $100 perfect for a 2x2 . U should be looking fir at least 30 watts per square foot of grow space

Way above his budget!
Sorry that I seen where he said he had a $100 spot good luck and happy growin ! Everyone gotta start somewhere
I put 2 90 watt led floodlight fro
Home Depot(3500k) in a 2x2 for like $45
Little less than that 1/2 g a watt but it was my smoke!

There’s a couple of bugget grows to ck out if your creative it can be done unconventionally!

FYI IF I manage to shoot a full sac fu' I'd go for a Black dog the big fudger(Goliath?!), sadly not available in UK AND I don't have the 1500+-its likely to cost by time I get it.
Or a kingbrite qb with the UV/IR n FR but even 350 is too much I grow because of cost, so upgrade is unlikely: my pension don't stretch.
