Should be a learning experience. But I have them dialed in now. Still nursing the 3 I light bleached big difference in growth. They may or may not continue based on how they do for the next week

One tip fer ya bud. Try not to micromanage like hydro. Of course monitor and take readings but more to see trends in the medium. Ec rising over time. Ph lowering. Etc.

Instant readings of runoff can be misleading.

I just watered only a plant that was at 1.7 last water/feed. She is ripening last two weeks. I want the ec down. Runoff came back at 1.8. Oops! But only a quart of water more and it was 1.3. Little misleading.

Appreciate it. I haven't measured runoff or ph yet. Maybe once a month but running some microbes/enzymes i have very little worry about it. Gonna keep the feed light and feed feed water schedule as the plants need. When I do the enzymes I will do them on the water only cycle to lower chance of freeing up to much nutrients and creating a tox.

That's kinda the plan anyhow. Does that in theory sound reasonable?

If ya got tips I'm all eyes bro

Well some of the hbcm is a bit picky on light so if the sensitive ones don't keep up then they just go to the curb. In after mother's so I have room to cut at least 10plants as we go. If it was about yield I would make some adjustments.

So far 3 hbcm on the chopping block and 2 bft right beside em. Vigor is important to me. But we will see things can change

It maybe the best t
Best to feed at lights on so the plants have the whole cycle to photosynthesize.
It may be the best time but its not always possible. When I check my plants at lights out to put them to bed for the night if they need fluid they get fluid. I've gone down in the morning checking the plants and found some I thought would be good for the night only to find them hanging in desperate need of fluid. I'd rather feed in the morning but if they need fluid at night they get fluid at night now, I don't like seeing them all droopy and hanging like they're about to die.😀

Yeah i have let a few go to long and had to water at the end of cycle or in the dark cause they are wilting. Lol

But i do fear mold when i do that.

Thats some fast growth bro. Now i think the major factor is lighting (and environment) not medium.

You are at least a week ahead of what my t-5’s can do. And ahead of a 600 hps or mh or 315cmh too. In my experience anyway.

I am seriously looking at an hlg 135 for the veg tent. Maybe i will go bigger.

I agree 100% i think and this is my opinion only. It's all light and environment as you say.

I shoot for flat leaves but will up light until the first signs of stress (slight V shape or tips/edges upward.

The temp I increase until I see the serrations spike a bit then drop it down a few degrees. As I truely believe higher temps increase metabolism. Especially root temps as I feel it has a big influence on leaf temps.

Then I simply match the humidity to my leaf and air temps through VPD.

Seems to work well for me. And that kinda why I go against the grain in hydro with water temps of 72-74f not 65-68f or colder.

Wow just peaked in and see some drooping nothing to bad. Check the cups and bone fucking dry!!! They are little pigs even with the 20% vermiculite added bone dry in I think it was 2 days but i may have been 3. I just watered again since no signs of tox and the leaves are nice light green I feed also 200ppm of mega crop with 130ppm tap.

Mondays pic should be interesting I had to bring in another rack because they will no longer fit on just one. I don't think this will stunt them at all but I inadvertently took my own advice about under watering once to get a feel for watering lol.
