So I am going to grow these auto fems
Dark Devil
Skywalker Ghost
Purple Haze
Banana Sativa


Germination process, am I doing it right? The Skywalker Ghost seed was opening like its going to start sprouting so I went ahead and put it in the root riot.

I have my TSW-2000 at 24"

Do I start using the light now? 12/12?

Curious on that dark devil and how that is going, got a auto fem seed I wanna try of that strain.

Honestly the dark devil started rough I think. The leaves are not like the other two stains. Kind of wrinkle, discoloration in my opinion. Although I do think it is petty healthy. Might just be the genetics. It is definitely a slow grower compared to the others. I don't think I have any problems with the grow. The main stem has decent circumference and it seems to have had a little grow spurt over the last 2 or 3 days.

Make sure you use a healthy dose of anti-fungal in your water with that heat it could foul quickly, I suspect. They make water chillers, but they aren't cheap. On a budget you can freeze several water bottles and cycle them through the res daily to keep the temp down.

Hello all, I highly reccomend the frozen water bottle method. I put them in the mixing reservoir. Use different size bottles until you find the righr size to bring the temps down to around 65°F. When using this method, I never added any type of anti-fungal supplements and always had buckets full of healthy white roots. Also you will do well to wrap your buckets with an insulation material.
If you run RDWC, water temps are everything.

I went to Lowes and seen Reflectix, I'm thinking about buying it for my buckets.

I am putting two 16.9oz water bottles in each bucket (3buckets) but I am concerned because even though I try to take the air out, they still float and some roots are on top or touching the frozen bottles... Tomorrow I will weigh them down with sinkers or pennies.

My rdwc should be set up this weekend. I'm not entirely sure of the method I'm going to use to cool the nutes. I have a mini fridge that I was thinking about using with the water pump if I can find some 1/2 or 3/4" 316 stainless steel since it has better heat transfer. I also have a dehumidifier, same one as in the link below and was thinking of doing that as well..

Those pictures of the dark devil bud were found on Google images. Mine is only in week 3 veg heh but I hope mine looks like it. I didn't get my seeds from 207 I got them from Stealthyseeds.com and seedsupreme.. Me and my friend went in on an order. 3 of my seeds and a few of his didn't germinate so I may go for a different site next time

Yeah it’s the same pic that they got up on their web site. Wish I could tell ya what their devil came out as... but hey 207 out of Maine give it a try maybe their dark devil is different ?? Lol

I heard 207 was good. I do like their packaging. For some reason it seems like my plants are not drinking much water. The Purple Haze grew some good roots yesterday. Dark Devil is growing slowly. I do see a difference between the dark devil and the other two. The other two are growing out, dark devil seems like it may grow tall instead of out in circumstance.

Yesterday before work I changed out the water/nutes for DD and Banana Sativa. Purple Haze got swapped about 3 days ago.

I have my light on 18/6. It is off between 6 am - noon. I work overnights doing construction so I don't ever know what time I get off. Normally get home between 4 and 5 30. The other day we got done at 9 am. I don't mess with them when the light is off, I'll just hit the bed and do it when I wake up. I refill my humidifier about 4 pm every day and it lasts at least 24 hours. The two fans and the carbon filter are on 24/7. I am definitely thinking about swapping my 4 port air stone thing for a 8 port and put 2 in each bucket.

My PH has definitely stabilized over the past week and a half.

I was curious, how many gallons of nutes are you using per bucket?

I started with 4 at the beginning until maybe week 1.5, then I switched to 3 gallons per 5 gallon bucket.

EDIT -- I didn't start with 4, I started with a little above the 5" deep net pot and then dropped it to 3 gal.

Makes me think I might run my to low maybe, I’ve been doing just 2 gal nutes and 1 gal balanced with supplements and I’m at week3 veg
