Alright so it seems to be more consistent with dryed cured bud. I ran the cookies I grew up at the cottage and all three tests were identical.
This is the Cookies

Now testing fresh flowers seems to be all over the place. The results have the same terpenes present but the amounts vary test to test. Which I think makes sense in my mind.

I’m going to play with it a bit more when I get home after picking up the boss

I ordered a few hundred inserts so I won’t run out lol

It actually makes so much sense it's scary. I think we've all known for a while that the drying and curing has the most effect on your final terpene content and "what's left" in the bud.❤❤

After next harvest I’ll try a test every week or so during dry and cure. See what it says.

So could you theoretically use this to see how ripe your plants are getting towards the end of harvest?

Haha I dunno I traded some sled dogs and half a canoe.

I’m going to try and test as they ripen but my guess is this is more accurate with dried bud. I think they are adding the plant material module this year.

But please correct me if I am wrong, THCa is basically unripened THC correct? So it seems to correspond to what percent thc you will have when it's finished yes? Even based on that plant you just tested

I’d probably call it unconverted more than unripened, no? It’s still got a significantly higher THCa than THC content when harvested. But it’s converted to THC decarbing/vaping/smoking.

Dispensary weed that I get shows testing. THCa is always the largest percentage.

Went by moms place to water/feed. Girls are looking burnt and alive but the little one threw male flowers, not nanners. Temp was down to 66° in their condo so I turned it up. Tent was at 73° 52% RH when I left.
