If it were me, I would look at grow lights that have the Samsung LM301b or H LED chip. I don't own a Mars but I have heard that the Samsung LED is more efficient. Those chips are also in bar lights which makes for another option ... if you are the DIY kind of guy, you can buy the pieces and build your own.

Off to bed... this old turd needs his sleep. But yeah you probably wanna get more light to them in flower.

Over the other option is run auto because you can run them 18/6 to 24/0 giving them less intensity for a longer duration... something you can't do with photos. A lot of people miss that fact. If going from 18/6 to 12/12 you need to give them 1/3 more intensity just to give them the same amount of total light per day. So with an auto you can get away with 15-20w per sq ft... unlike a photoperiod. Its all about the DLI (DAILY LIGHT INTEGRAL) can Google if ya like. I need some beauty rest.

Hey I originally put this in the wrong thread, but another affordable option is 2 hps 150 watt lights, they are about 80 bucks each on amazon.

I have a Mars TS3000 and I grow some nice bud with it. I just recently purchased 2 240watt Kingbrite Led from Vicky at Kingbrite, paid $320.00 delivered to my door in 4 days here in USA. They are the 301H version with the 660 red with dimmers. They are great looking lights and have them dimmed down to 400ppfd for veg.
