You long time growers and your hookups - I'm jealous. My state has only been legal 3 years now and most of that was (is) during flu. Our marketplace is disgraceful here compared to say Colorado. I've never even seen a clone in person that was not my own.

Is there a community established out there where people exchange clones just to share genetics? If not, we need to start one.

Totally off topic - but anybody know a digital camera that picks up UVX and or Far Red? I'm redesigning my spectrometer to see those wavelengths if I can find a camera.

i have had a personal policy to not take outside plants but keep joining threads here. Plenty of generous growers sharing cuts. And if you keep an eye on the classifieds we have now there are a few sellers. But they do stick to the popular new cuts. But some of them still hold to the classics and will part with them too from time to time. And more will see your work and take interest i think.

I’m looking for an actual camera. Like a webcam. I 3D print a case wrapped around said camera and a diffraction lens and some fun with angles and you get a cheap full spectrum analyzer using some free software. Problem is my spectrum just exceeded my measuring capabilities. Need a better camera.

I’ll make you one minus the camera if you want.

Yea... MIMed has it.
Used to be able to get clones easily here (farmer's market)... But those are gone now. They always came with pests, however. The tents I grow in now were purchased for quarantining initially.
I've had good luck purchasing clones from two different mail order services recently... But like MIMed said, they mostly sell the newer/popular stuff... And like I said, you really don't know until you grow (it out).

Mine came from a trade on freecannabis.com, allegedly originating from Marijuana Seed Shop.

Have both been reasonable sources of genetics. I've tried to hook up with local growers, but uncertainty and paranoia makes it a challenge.
