For veg, you could fill it and just move your cups around to make up for the edges.

But for flower, I'd say 16. Maybe 25 if they are all touching.

Update! Its starting to fill in. Went in and hacked a bunch of the lower growth out and a bunch of shade leafs.

The next couple of weeks will really show me how the light performs. I normally get buds that look like this.

Is that an led? Whys it so far away? Does it get really hot?

I am just about finished with my first SF LED run. These new Quantum LEDs are very intense, like the sun. They are pretty warm but not terribly hot. However, you need to watch for sunburn and adjust accordingly. Be careful not to leave any drops of water on the exposed leaves as it will leave a burn spot. It took me a bit to figure that one out. The new LED tech is unlike anything I have ever grown with and believe me over 40 years I have run everything.
I do not recommend the larger lights but multiple 1000's spread out. they tend to have burn spots with the larger 400w+ boards.
You can expect results similar to sunlight, including coloration and hash resin production.

I did a lot of firsts here and had a few road bumps but it worked out. The harvest is only waiting on the seeds to mature, It is partially a preservation project.
You will see how I set up the lights with a couple of supplemental LEDs to aid in flowering. I still had one of the larger plants get seriously sunburned, but not until the last week or so. The plants are pretty much done and I still have two articles for the finish but you'll get some idea of some of the issues I worked through. Oddly, these Balkh Province Afghans seem to be self-flushing now. They are definitely done, and the flushing has been happening for about a week now. I increased feeding and potassium but it doesn't help. I think these girls are so loaded with seed that no amount of feeding will stop the leaf discoloration. You can spot the sunburn if you look close...

i understand what you mean, i think. i know while reading a review, i skip those "asides", i usually read reviews for the actual review of the actual light by the actual guy reviewing it. they want to treat the thread like a plea for help, instead of an "information only" thread.

after the review, unless one has questions regarding the setup or the actual light during the process, then the "help" and asides and "what might have been" should be posted and perused. but till you review it using your methods and protocol, these other inputs confuse people like me (new and dumb and oft times stoned)

i can look at BigCubes other grows, and see what can happen at his hands then look at this review and note differences and benefits. if i compare the 20 differing opinions in the thread, i have no baseline.

just my preference, as an idjut about growing and the plethora of accoutrements, if it is labeled "review of..." that is sort of what i want to see in the thread.

It's not free. I have to do this for it.
In my opinion it's not worth it.

In all honesty, I'm not going to be keeping a single piece of this kit. It's all being given away after. I have much better equipment already.

I just want to do a review without everyone comming out of the woodwork giving their opinions. Specially since I'm trying very hard to keep my own opinion out of it.

I have a bunch of threads documenting grows here, none of them are like this.

I just do it so I can remember the whats and whens, not to show off or stroke my ego. I mean this is the internet, everyone is stoned and there will be people who are unintentionally rude, as well as punk kids, trolls and retards of all kinds. Just use the ignore and do your thing.

I first started a diary here years ago to document my return to growing after taking years off. Shortly after my first couple grows I tapered it down. Now I only update a single grow, and that's because it's my own genetics and I want a record of how its going.

I love to help people, and spend most of my time on this site in the unanswered posts section, trying to help people with problems.

More than anything I would be happy if people got something out of my threads. I'm not here to jerk myself off, or start flame wars I want to actually put out decent information to the best of my knowledge.

I guess I'll just do what they do, steamroll right over their post with another one of mine.

I think they look great for 4 weeks. Can't wait to see them in another 4 weeks. How long do these f10 ww normally take?
