Ok have you read the post I made on fertigation for coco? If ya have a good environment it's the way to go IMO. Of course there is more than one way to skin a cat... (hypothetically speaking of course)Yeah its coco,

No worries... it just a guide not a hard rule.See to be honest mate I started reading it but kept replying to ppl and on this and trying to figure out whats wrong wi plants. Ill find it and read it just now. Sorry man.
I'm off for a bit but someone hopefully can pinpoint it. Sounds like maybe watering or nutes issue in the media.

My pots are 40ltr which is i think 9 gallon give or take. My perlite is 70/30 it was already made up when I bought it. On your thread it says its to be 50/50 will i still be able to do it with less perlite. Maybe thats why the bottom of my pots are always soaking.
Lol... yes it will work but if you feed based on runoff you will notice you won't need to feed as often. Also keep the pots off the floor. It's also normal tat any container is more saturated at the bottom... thats the saturation zone... depending on the media the depth of the saturation zone will change... eg in soil it's much higher that coco and will be even lower in coco/perlite.Last time a listen to folk at the grow shop lol

Yes and make sure you remove all runoff. The pots should never sit in runoff.I've got mines sitting on a runoff tray, will I need to loft them up off it using wood or something.

If your enviroment is in a good place and temps over 75f with lights on you may benefit from this.
HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.
Ok writing this cause i see this issue often and rather have a thread to link than explain this each time. This is not my work but a collection of info from many members here and I have put into practice myself. So first off COCO is NOT soil. For best results we want to keep it saturated...www.thcfarmer.com
Hmmm any way to measure 1 event and divide by the plants? Not ideal but better than nothing. It doesn't look really spacey but they are a lot further apart.
I can't do it that way mate, my runoff is all tied in together as they are on danish drip trays with a 25mm hose so I wouldn't know what had how much runoff :((

Again just a suggestion not that you have to but I find it really hps eliminate a whole host of issues. Can you get away with less... absolutely.I could do mate aye, ill start it today.

Yeah the next feed tomorrow at lights on and see what the runoff is like. If it's to much then you can feed every 2 days until you start getting less than 10% runoff. Nothing wrong with to much runoff other than just not necessary. But keep feeding 18L per event if they are 40L pots and 9 plants.I just did it, from 5% =18ltrs over 9 plants in 40ltr pots i got 5.4ltr run off. Slightly too much so ill reduce it a bit tomorrow. Just to be sure I don't water them again till tomorrow? I might seem stupid lol but I'm just double checking.

Good idea to test the runoff and see how the ppm and ph are if you still have it. You can how well it's correcting and the stability of the root zone
