Stupid advanced nutrients. My res is 50 gallons. So my wife figured this out for me for gallons instead of liters. 50 gallons to liters is like 189 liters. So i put in 10 gallons of water yesterday and only fed at 1/2 strength. In other words. I only did my nutes for a 5 gallon mix. But i added no cal-mag. And i added my micro to my first 5 gallons of water and put it in first. I used more grow nutes than the rest though. 75ml for the 10 gallons i put in. Ppm is in around 750. Ec is at 1.4 and ph is at 6

back of the bloom nutes.

Ok so first of all they should be getting cal mag all the time. I dont want to say that they CANT overdose on Ca or Mg but even feeding at 2x the recommended strength shouldnt cause a problem. 2nd, when using a calmag product, always add it to plain water first, smoke a joint, and then add the micro, then the rest. Let me look at your feed chart for a minute but give them calmag now. Watch for tip burn and dark dark leaves, thats N toxicity. I usually aim for 500-600 ppm for veg and then in bloom well i jist start topping my res up with bloom nutes instead of veg nutes so that the res gradually transitions from veg to bloom. Once ive added a total of 50 gallons of bloom nutes, i switch to my mid-bloom mix. Then i gradually add my swelling nutes, and my proprietary blend for essential oil and cannabinoid production, and then at week 6-8 (depending on how long the strain takes to finish) i dump the res and add my finishers and ripeners for 2 weeks and then instead of flushing for the last 2 weeks i instead add more RO water to the res every day making it weaker and weaker by the day so that by the last 3 days before harvest its basically just plain water. Thats how i run my system, just in case it gives you any ideas. Many studies have shown that giving nitrogen in the first 4 weeks of bloom drastically increases rhe yield (as much as 20% in some cases.) I would explain why but im in the middle of making white widow live rosin and im tired from harvest on top of it. Its a good kind of tired though. Ok let me look at your nutes. Y'know it would be a lot easier on me (dont be selfish🤣🤣) if you just switched to general hydroponics flora series nutes. 🤣🤣🤣 ok gimme a sec.

Oh in case it helps on the future, 1 gallon is 3.789 liters.

If it's a calcium deficiency...it might be because i didn't add ANY cal-mag to my nutes yesterday when i upped the rest of them.
50 gallons of bloom nutes? Or the mls for 50 gallons? Lol
But so right now i need to add cal-mag for the 10 gallons of water i put in yesterday? Or more?

5 minutes after lights come on and then every 4 hours after that around the clock

Live rosin? Thats above my pay scale at the moment. But it sounds great. I would like to get a decent press at some point. But.....It will be a minute.

You need to add enough calmag for the whole res
If the bottle says 5mls per gallon and you have a 50 gallon res, then you add 250mls. BUT..... IMPORTANT..... you CANNOT add calmag to an already prepared res or you risk lockout. You CAN dilute it a bunch, like add the 250mls to a 5 gallon bucket, half full with water. So once the calmag is mixed with half a bucket of water, fill the other half of the bucket from your res. This was youre still doing it right. Water->calmag-> micro, then the rest. Let that mix for 5 minutes and then slowly pour it into your res and watch your ppm while you do. Oh and you may need to adjust pH after adding calmag so after you mix up the res, let it sit for an hour with the air pump mixing it up and then check pH again. After that youre good to go.

Dude, im going to be getting another press in a few months. When i do, i wont get rid of the good one but i might part with my 6 ton press for 200-300 bucks on youre interested by the time i get a new one.

I can see my water turning in there and i can watch whatever i add change the ppm meter and the ec meter. Do i still need to dilute it like that? If so....i need to change the whole res out immediately. But i don't have anymore grow nutes left. Only micro and bloom and my cal mag. What a fucking pain in the ass. I have to siphon my res out thru an aquarium hose. I have no way to pump it out and just pump new water in. I have to fill the whole 50 gallons by hand with a 5 gallon bucket. And as long as im doing this i might as well top flush them. Right? Ugh! Glad its a rain day from work

Sweet. I will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks man! Thats cool. Your right. What a cool little community it is here.

Ok. So while its siphoning water out i am going to just keep adding 5 gallons of clean water until i get my ppm dow as low as i can get it. Leave the res about 10 gallons short. Add in my calmag to the clean water in the res. Run and get some more nutes. Maybe an hour. Come back. Add my micro to 5 gallons of the water. Mix. And then add the rest of my nutes to the water with the micro or to the last 5 gallons that i need to put in?????
I guess i am kind of lost on the order.
1. Half full 5 gallon bucket of water
2. Mix my cal-mag i that water
3. Smoke a joint
4. Take water from my res and fill the bucket the rest of the way up.
5. Add my micro.
6. Wait 5 minutes
7. Add the rest of my nutes? Or add the rest of my nutes to the last 5 gallons i need to add to get to 50?

Ok a real answer is you will probably be ok. I have added watered down calmag to my res and was fine. Judt watch for signs of lockout. Wild pH fluctualtions, leaves doing shitty things, a bunch of deficiencies. Man just disconnect your flood hose from the table, put it into a bucket or sink amd turn the pump on.

Also if you still have micro and bloom, youre golden.just mix 1 part micro to 2 parts bloom. Follow the lucas method on the back of the bottle. Licas cuts corners but it ill get you through.

And siphon it out while i am putting the new water in? That part isn't that big of deal. I have a huge shop vac to get it started.

Till i get my grow?

Ok the main idea is just to expose the calmag to dilited nutes instead of dumpintlg straight into the res. You can mix everything all at once.
1. Bucket of water
2. Add calmag to water
3. Smoke a joint
4. Sdd micro to the bucket
5. Add bloom to the bucket and then whatever else.
6. Pour this bucket into a res full of water until youre at the right ppm

And by the looks of my plants they are in the grow stage. Right? Or are they considered small plants? For the nutrient measurement.

Grow. They are in veg now
I recommend you follow the veg ratios, jist make sure you only add enough to get your ppm where ypu need it. Usually half the recommended dose is right around the sweet spot for them
