Nothing i do will bring my leaf temps up either. I am just assuming it reads 3.5° difference. It said it could be +/- that ammount

Well shit. That means your phone doesnt have a light sensor
I have actually downloaded that lux meter on google and the numbers do change. Kind of weird that they would change if i didn't have a light meter.

So i downloaded it again and this is what it told me the sun was at. It actually went up to over 60000

Hold it up to a light bulb and it should go up as you get closer and down as you get farther away. I have that exact meter too 🤣

At 12" distance with light on max what's the reading?

Sun can be anwhere from 2k lux to 130k lux depending on time of day and cloud cover.

The sun was 60,000 lux earlier. And my lights are out right now. I can check at 10 pm.

Remember that's plus minus % so it more accurate than you think. Leaf temps are hard to change... especially under LED because the lack the IR... nor far red but IR.

The easiest way is increase the room temps. Keep good air circulation through the plants but not direct airflow. You'd be surprised how much evaporative cooling affects them. Then another big factor is the root temps so keep pots off the floor is important as that can lower root temps and in turn plant and leaf tenls quite a bit also.

I have 1 16 inch oscillating fan inside. 4 inch ac infinity fan bringing air into the tent and a 6 inch ac infinity fan sucking air out of my bedroom window at the same time. Can i shut aomething off to decrease a little bit of the airflow to bring them up?

And then my res is under my flood table and my nutes will get too warm. I am fixing that next grow. I am going to build a platform to put my tent on and put my res directly below the platform outside the tent. Warm water problem solved. It stays a constant 69 or 70 degrees in our house. Summer and winter.

First why do you want to increase leaf temps? Are they to low?

Second water temp is a myth... I ran my full hydro at 72-74f for the increase to growth rates over 68f. I can go into if you like but it will be a bit longer of a read. As long as you are running a live or sterile system water temps of 72-74f are no issue with submerged roots. In flood and drain there is not issue with root temps as high as 80f. If your running water temps of 68-69f that is probably the reason for your low leaf temps. The reason we use leaf temls is its a good indicator of overall plant temps including the rootzone. Usually the rootzone will sit about 2-5f cooler than leaf temps. Like I say I can get into it for ya but it won't be short. Fact is root temps have a large impact on growth rates.

This hydro was 2 weeks growth at 72-74f it doesn't sound like much difference but those 4-6f increase make a lot of difference. In my coco I run aboit 82-84 room temps which puts my leaf temps about 78-80f and my root temps about 76-78f the reason being if they aren't submerged you don't need to worry about DO levels being a bit lower in warmer temps because they get exposure to air.

Ok. Yes. I need them higher. So i have my light at 60% and it keeps it a steady tenp of 80 when i have a negative air exchange. No flaps on the tent open. I have been worried about the temp being to high when i turn my light up for flower. My leaf temps are staying around 7-8°f lower than the temp in the tent

Don't worry about you tent temps... as long as the leaf temps are good your golden.

Ok. So should i turn the percentage up on my light? Or move the light closer to the plants to increase leaf temp? I just put new water in my res. And its cold. But it should adjust by tomorrow. Before i changed it though it was around 74 or 75°. But they started doing really good with those temps. Then my res got all out of whack. They were using nutes because my PPM started to go down. Even after 3 weeks
