Come on fella's, there's more than one way to skin a cat, and people are free to do things differently, no reason to be disrespectful about it. There's not any one right way too grow cannabis.

Choose to make your positions known, then move along. You can't force people to adopt your positions.
Life doesn't work that way (very well).

There are experiments for probably almost anything you can think of cannabis related... in the end the conclusion is this does or does not work for this specific strain in this specific situation and that does not mean it does for all.

Like @HaveApuff said reading the plants and having an understanding of of how things interact and impact them is pretty much the only real answer.

Guides are very very subjective and numbers are poorly reliable at best on most cases. Syntoms added with number in some cases, history of the plant and all environmental factors usually give you the best chance of understanding how to tweak any of those. Change 1 and they all change.

I literally come in with the mind set that I know nothing lol .. that’s where I think your mistaken.. I understand it takes experience to actually put what you learn to test but why not listen to a 30 year grower that is their willing to explain not only the WHAT but the WHY.. I think there’s too much “I’ve been doin this for this amount of time and I know best” in everything in life but I strongly believe that it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been doing great something you can always get better through the process of trying new things.. do you disagree ?

Exactly.. but there are so many new products and so much new technology we can use to measure what a plant needs and when it needs it somebody has got to have a good method.. this all really started this pops not knowing what a control is 😂😂 idk how it got this far

So getting suggestions and putting them to the test is wrong 🤔 are you afraid your methods won’t produce the results you predict.. You can never be afraid to fail..

Thank you cause regardless everyone is going to do what they want anyways.. I’m just simply taking what others tell me and putting them to a test to see what pans out the best 😂😂 is that so wrong ?

No, it's not wrong, but there are better ways to get your point across, and then there's an immature way. So don't cross that line, and you'll be better off. People will take you more seriously, when you not disrespectful, and you take them seriously also.

We all do this for the love of the plant, not because any one of us are right, or wrong about any one thing. It's really not a pissing contest here. The bickering is not conducive to learning, and it won't be tolerated here, period.

I've held misconceptions about life for decades, so it's not surprising that anyone else can do the same.

I actually hope to learn something from him and I hope he follows the grow so maybe if he has a reason why something happened he can chime in.. I’ve always believed the numbers are king and statistics to back those numbers up are queen.. Maybe by just reading more I’ll get my etiquette corrected but I’m not really good with sugar coating..

Hey man, It's ok. We get it. We've been there. You did nothing wrong except be excited and eager.
The internet is a tough place to be because you can not see or hear the other person and much of what they are telling you is lost. No body language, no tone of voice... that kind of stuff. It makes it VERY easy to misunderstand what was said. It happens a lot. Don't sweat it.
Just slow down a bit.

That's really what Puff was saying is to just cool back a bit and do some learning. So what if you learn a different way than he does? That's not wrong.
We just have to stop and make sure we are really getting what the other person is saying online. You know what I mean, yeah?

Most of us here are not, but if you can learn, that's all that's required. Nobody's asking you to sugar coat anything, just be respectful.

Basically this.. super dark leaves most likely nitrogen toxicity.. we all know and understand that.. but what I want to know is the reason.. is it because FFOF is only good for 4 weeks or did any of the other nutrients lock it out or did I mix them wrong or is it a genetic thats nitrogen sensitive … Also I want to know why the leaves turn dark green and curl , why do the top leaves seem to be effected more than the bottom ones, what’s the best action to take .. do you try to flush and take nitrogen out of the medium or try to amend and make fix the problem..

And that’s just one thing that can happen.. so I’m not just thinking about only a surface level but a cellular level also..

I might have just gotten out of character.. I LOVE MY NUMBERS 😂😂 I stand by them to the end 😂😂 and the best thing for me is to just do it and record the data

If you really want to have a good idea of this stuff, take a basic plant biology course at the local night school or college.
That will help you understand what it is you need to know.
Also, go to Ed Rosenthal's site and read everything.

Pics? difficult to say. Nutrients aren't as simple as that, there's a ton of other factors at play. Read the above stuff, that's a good place to start. At some point, you got to dev into reading some of this, get into some of the various discussions on the boards, and go from there.

Nute issues are highly complex, and has to do with a multitude of factors.

Often times, there's simply no one clear thing that stands out from the rest.
