If you really want to have a good idea of this stuff, take a basic plant biology course at the local night school or college.
That will help you understand what it is you need to know.
Also, go to Ed Rosenthal's site and read everything.
I was flower maintenance at my city’s garden and they made me take a plant life course but that was before I really wanted to learn 😭

Pics? difficult to say. Nutrients aren't as simple as that, there's a ton of other factors at play. Read the above stuff, that's a good place to start. At some point, you got to dev into reading some of this, get into some of the various discussions on the boards, and go from there.

Nute issues are highly complex, and has to do with a multitude of factors.

Often times, there's simply no one clear thing that stands out from the rest.
That was just hypothetical just explaining everything I’m asking myself when I see a deficiency and everything I want to know about it so in a sense I’m not only looking at the plant to see what it needs, but I want to look in it , through it.. there are actually test you can use now that test the ppm( I think) through your plants actual fluids.. looking for the link now.

you may want to consider using clones for your experiments. Nute requirements can vary wildly even within different pheno types of the same strain not to mention environmental factors. Good luck. I applaud your ambition.

So I’ve learned today that

Solid plastics pots are generally the last choice..

Switching to the ES5000 or 2 3000s will be the best choice for one side of my tent..

A little T5 makes a big difference during flow

and a 6’ inline just won’t cut it..

Hmmm.. I get the basic idea but could you explain more..

Different strains like different things. Some can be nitrogen hungry or some can like a little more P some don’t like to much of anything and burn if you look at them wrong. That’s where reading the plants comes into play. It’s just one of many variables.

This man said burn if you look at the wrong 😂😂😂😂😂

But basically what I’m hearing is 4 phenos of the same strain COULD behave 4 different ways and require 4 different nutrients levels 🤔

I understand your thirst for knowledge of growing cannabis, but growing 5 plants from seed in a tent will not get you the concrete evidence of anything you are looking for. A real experiment has to have a lot more plants, from clones, and multiple environments with the ability to control every factor perfectly, including temperature, relative humidity, moisture content of the media, light intensity (a real light meter, not your cell phone app), etc.

I think you should just keep it simple, grow a few plants under a light, all with the same everything. As you gain experience and you get to the point where you can have a successful grow from start to finish without asking someone for help, then you should start messing around with "experiments". I put that in quotation because the vast majority of home growers don't have the ability to get accurate results in a tent at home. Good luck with your grow.

Imo it’s will not could. I have clones behaving differently right now

To get to 100 you got to start at 1.. but I’m interested in the clone theory and why you think it would be more beneficial to start from there going from seed would record germination rate in each medium unless you think germination is to hit or miss to get actual good data ?

If you want to do any kind of comparing, you use clones as they are as close to exact copies as we have for testing.
