This is what it's all about. 10 weeks of flower, 2 weeks hang drying in controlled conditions, 3+ weeks cured and still curing. Got some trimmed up and ill be able to keep the dope tin loaded for the next year with these 2 dank ass varieties of ganja to enjoy as freely as I please. This stuff is super tasty, clean burning material. Couldn't be much happier with my 2021 supply of spiked punch and wedding crasher.
I love having weed independence.
I'll trade some for a bit of imported Moroccan and Afghan hash tomorrow to round out my supply. In as many years as I have made hash ive never been able to make a product like the Moroccans and Afghans can. Damn terroir...

Picked up another cheapo piece of glass... been on a real hash kick lately. This hash is called Unicorn Hunter stamp black hash, its made domestically here in British Columbia Canada. And I must say, it is some very high quality hash!

Niiiice white ashes.. like little lumps of coal. Smooth, tasty, hits hard behind the eyes but is still a very creative buzz. I do paperwork smoking this stuff, it's that kind of hash.
@Kanzeon how would you describe the flavor and smell of this stuff? You're good with that type of thing. To me, it kinda has the smell of black maynards wine gums candies. Very sweet and almost tropical, anise candy like.

Unheated for me Unicorn Hunter is predominantly chocolate and red fruit with some savory herbal notes in the background, Once burned/vaped, it shifts more into a black tea/grilled onion/cigar box/chalkboard flavor/smell.

Made a little quarter of really nice, aged organic "4 star general" dry sift hash. First bounce of unbroken buds over a 190 screen, hand pressed.
Very sticky, and very tasty. Hits like a ton of bricks... way stronger than any import or domestic Black hash ive smoked. This stuff made me sit down after 2 bong rips. Melts nicely also. 2 huge tokes melted into a little puddle of white ash.

Wedding crasher is such a nice strain. I didn't trim this stuff and honestly don't need to, the sugar leaf is so caked in crystal it smokes really nice too.
I think the next fall crop will be this stuff on its own. Just look at how crystally this little bottom nug is, leaf and all...

Kanzeons thread got me thinking g about these beans that @dire wolf sent me a while back. Iirc DW told me not to grow them but I dont recall why? Do you remember DW?
Looks like escd/moon, moon/amnesia, and BP/MH (blue power x mango haze?) are the 3 you sent me.
I really need to crack some of this stuff eventually. Who know what kinda magic is hiding in this bean stash...

Hey D , yea I remember why I suggested not popping them , I think my initial desire was to share some of my better or what I considered rare collection with other growers , afterwards I started thinking that there are so many personal preferences that someone may not find the same value in a seed grow that I would...
Then it occurred that a seed grow can be a crap shoot and even time tested , things ( plants) can
Can turn out no where near the description ....
Also the bp mango , and for the most part , moonshine haze and east coast sour diesel can be a real height and time challenge , the sour diesels going up to 80 days to flower ....
It started feeling like too much responsibility to deal with
The moonshine haze is a simple cross from rare danknes , the east coast sour diesel is from my personal 20 year old clone only plant that I've got and the blue power mango is a mr nice mango , so typically I think , how can you go wrong ... And almost all my seed grows from that collection are as good as any top seed company offerings , but again , I have no idea what people are looking for , Kanzeon seemed adventurous and into trying loads of exotics and seldom heard of strains so I think I encouraged him to pop the seeds .....
But it freaked me out a little for anyone else to invest months of effort and end up unhappy .....
So I suggested to put em on hold
And after all , with all the clones available , it seems like most are going that route, just that I've been growing so long before decent clones were readily available that I'm still in the seed mindset , and regular seeds at that , but ya know , popping a dozen , or 50 , sexing , choosing pheno types , that's when I thought better let peeps do their own thing , and I'd rather just share proven clones without all the work
If your in the mood for a seed adventure , I'd go with the blue power mango , honestly it's one of the only strains I'll even smoke these days , the high , somehow , and not because of my talent is amazing , I guess I'd thank mr nice Seedbank for the mango haze ....
The example kanzeon grew out is pretty typical of mine , it's hazy in growth pattern , can be a bit firmer bud from the blue power influence , and I'd look for a pheno that dosent have the severe sativa dominance , otherwise she can shoot up like a monster and take 70 days to finish ....
I can tell you how and why I created the strain later when my fingers recover
