What ppm does the Ca, and N come out to?

The ppm measurement isn't exactly handy compared to EC. You don't specify whether yours is a 500 or 700 ppm meter.
The details for the meter reads:

3-in-1 TDS Meter: Measurement Range 0-9990ppm, 0-9990µs/cm; Accuracy ± 2%, 0.1- 80.0°C, 32.0-176.0°F.

numbers are obviously way too high. When I backed the calnit and mag down to 1/2 strength (from what I originally used) - the feed water measured in at 870.

I was talking elemental ppm, but on a 500 scale it’s approx 170 N, and 150 Ca. So not that high.
 
Yes! That is way to high! If your feeding say 600 ppm, then 800-850 is acceptable. Are you in coco coir?
I’m starting to think that part of the issue is either the fulvic or the silica. My clones are in fresh soil with only Mr. Fulvic and PowerSi and they’re showing similar signs.

It looks like a magnesium problem. If using silica and fulvic every feed, apply them at half strength. Other than that, be sure to double check the pH of your feed input and runoff.

If you are under LED or CMH, you may need to add 1g epsom salt/gallon as well.

The Jack’s recipe calls for 1.2 g of Epsom. I was feeding at 1.5 g per gallon. I was also heavy on calnit by .6 g and my run off ppm was 1530. That’s seems high, so I’m cutting the Calnit and Epsom down by half. Are you saying I need more epson?

veg: 1000 w LED
flower: 2000 w LED

In veg, I do 3 grams Jacks, 2 grams Cal Nit, 1 gram epsom salt per gallon under LED. In flower, I do 3.6g Jacks, 2.4 cal nit and 1.2 g epsom salt per gallon. The feed rate they recommend is for sun grown or fresh bulbs in a sealed room with CO2.

Some people get away with just Jacks/Cal Nit. I didn't know you were already supplementing with epsom salt.

Thanks! I’m flushing them all. I think my biggest mistake was thinking I could feed full strength (hydro,calnit,mag,silica,fulvic) on every feed. I’ll give them half strength on the nutes and probably drop the silica and fulvic for this grow.

Bill - what are your in and out ppm readings, if you don’t mind me asking? You’ve obviously got it down so I’m trying to get close to your numbers. Thanks!
 
360 ppm Jacks, 240 cal nit. I forget the epsom salt. I'll double check when I have time.
I filled a 2 gallon jug tonight and measured as I went:
Water (before anything):
ppm: 41
ec: 76
ph: 7.3

added calnit (1/2 tsp) **remember 2 gallons of water***
ppm: 268
ec: 537

Then added hydro (1 tsp) **2 gallons**
ppm: 730
ec: 1460

Finally, added epsom (1/2 tsp) **2 gallons**
Final ppm: 800
Final ec: 1600
Final ph: 6.5

Per gallon is would be, 1/4 tsp calnit, 1/2 tsp hydro, 1/8 tsp epsom

I have a precision gram scale coming Monday but how do these numbers look to you?
 
Use the gram scale. Calcium nitrate can vary greatly by the size of the prill.
Is mixing order truly critical, or a lot of “bro-science”?
If mixing order is important please advise, or at least informed opinion please, thanks.
Previous jacks resources have instructed full dissolution of part A and Epsom, prior to B(cal nit), to avoid precipitation.
I’ve heard as well add Si before anything else, don’t remember details why, seems a pH interaction??

Here is what I do and have been successful.
Si, mix. 5-12-26/epsom, mix until dissolved. Calnit, mixed till dissolved. Ph. (If microbes are added, I do it AFTER ph’ing) ->feed
