Interesting. The ones that did this were clones given to me by an acquaintance. Maybe he took them during flower and eventually they smoothed out after getting 19 hours of light. They got even better after several weeks and even better after the first week of flower. Thanks for the advice.
Or they were taken in veg and then not kept under long photoperiods for a few days.

Ahhhh, I think that's it. When he gave them to me my tent wasn't complete so I kept them on the west side of my house for a few days, maybe a week. 15 hours of indirect light at the time but maybe only about 7 hours of direct light there.

I'd say it definitely a possibility.

I gave a grow formula , so the N was higher than P and K but there wase P K in it . What i meant was i didnt give the extra P K yet. And started bloom formula of Canna coco after 3 weeks into flower.
Its light stress. Your lights are either to close are to intense for that strain. I would suggest that you dial your light source back by 50 percent. I am read some of your responses and I am certain that you have probably considered this . I had this happen to me 6 years ago.

Thanks for your reply, i dimmed my Gavitas back to 800 watt from 1000. I didn't mention i installed new bulbs after 7 days bloom. Not sure but that might have stressed them too. The old bulbs came with the lights which i bought second hand so i dont really know how old the bulbs were and how much difference it could have made. Normally i would dimm to 600 watt starting week 7 but i will dimm earlier now. The fox tailing proces already started that is continuing at the moment but i hope they will fatten up.

UPDATE

I finished my grow and it was as expected , airy buds but not too much. It could have been worse.

But the reason im updating is i think i solved the riddle. I was reading about foxtailing and read that Superthrive can cause it too because it contains Auxin hormone which causes stretching of the cells. So i forgot to mention i sprayed Auxin as foliar spray in the beginning of flower. I guess it was end of first week after flipping.
This explains why it was weird for me to see foxtailing stretching this early in flower, never had this before that early. And first time trying Auxin
Normally foxtailing occurred at the end of bloom in the final 2 weeks. I changed the npk ratio with low N and this helped a bit i think. Lesson learned no Auxin in bloom. Sorry for not informing you guys from the beginning about Auxin hormone i used, i forgot about it.

I did a 20 plus strain run once when the light got left on at week 2 or 2.5 for a 24 hour period. About half the strains got affected and looked just like yours. Even some phenotypes of the same strains had different reactions. Interestingly it was the more sativa dominate varieties and phenotypes that got most affected. Like the Indicas were so far into flowering compared that they didn't care. Auxins be dammed!

just gonna drop this, superthrive is snakeoil. They've never disclosed their formula, and in my personal experience, I believe its mass adoption is the fact that it has B vitamins and contributes to a placebo effect at $12 for 8 ounces.

Foxtailed flowers aren't a terrible thing, either. My last run was blasted with light (outgrew my space was NOT anticipating the explosion that happened) and I've had consistent reviews of praise despite my shitty trim job. Sure, lost a lot of bulk as a consequence, but the quality doesn't change much.

Best bet is to keep PGRs out of the grow room, period. There are some really odd plant behaviors that while they're conducive to vine type crops, they have no business in cannabis where we are concerned about tight internodal spacing for bulking purposes. Bag appeal plummets when you hand someone a bag full of speared, airy looking buds. They don't see the frost, nor smell the aromas, they see airy buds and immediately think that 3.5 grams weighed on a triple beam is light.

My patients don't care, and trust their donations are equal to the product I gift them. Still is a bit disheartening when you're hoping for bats and end up with katanas.

Hey now, I like my katana. I use it to slice bats. 😆
