i am interested to find out what you are planning to do after this upcoming defoliation. 2nd tent?
negative. don't have the space for another tent. in an ideal world, i'd have my office be the grow room. low an behold, i have a day job and have to make money, so i make due. some day i'll have a space like @Dirtbag's and won't have such first world problems as a forest enclosed in a tent in the space which I work.

my plan is to run a screen that is at the height of the short girls in the back row and train the tall girls through it. kind of a fucked up scrog. i'll run a second about 6" above the first which will be for support as the flowers get heavy. there's always some continuous stretch through flower and i fully predict those girls are gonna take full advantage of that space between the two screens.

might not be bad to have a scrooge net on the sides of the tent too, that should give you the ability to run the plants closer to the walls to have their own scroog. and the plants in the middle have more room to grow. Just a idea cuz its going to get insane in there #loveit

A little side project, im making the second batch of turkey tail tincture today. The alcohol extraction came out looking great, almost looks like I'm making oil. I then pressure cooked the mushrooms in a quart of water in the instant pot after removing the alcohol, and now I'm reducing the water extract on the stove, down to the same volume of Alcohol.
Once I have it reduced, I'll combine the two for a dual extract tincture.

This is the alcohol extract passing through the filter

Hey Dirt just wondering if you have ever used the cheap C02 ppm meters. I see some cheap ones on amazon wondering if they may be anywhere s near accurate. I don't really have a need for one, just be curious to see what they show.
I have not, no. I've used a cheap Co2 controller, and it was not very efficient. But never used a sniffer in my room.

Well I'm making a decision. I'm gonna follow @tobh here and give crop steering via irrigation a shot. I've always hesitated because overfeeding used to happen to me quite easily with the lower light levels. That is no longer a concern..

Coming out

And they are looking lush AF.

So today I have set the irrigation for 8 small shots of water throughout the lights on period, aiming for runoff by around shot #3.

When I flip in a couple days I'll do fewer, somewhat larger shots through the day and allow for more dryback between feeds for about 3 weeks and then switch back to Vegetative irrigation steering.
I'll also use climate steering by reducing temperature for the first week of the generative stretch phase.

how will you stop the stretch when you flip to flower ? you dont look like you have enough height ?
I've got lots of height, ceiling is 9' average, 10" peak. Lights can go up another couple feet or so. But ill also be using a negative temp differential during stretch to keep them as short as possible.

Here is how much room i have left to raise lights.

Hows the humidity with lower temps..spose its getting cooler there db so less humidity.those girls are powering along..

In the jungle the mighty jungle dirtbag sleeps tonite....weeheeheehee dee heeheeheehee weeoh aweem away...😃
Haven't lowered the temps yet, but it will be after a good strip when I do, so that should help with humidity. Right now my room holds steady around 50-55% RH or so lights on, 40% lights off.
