it's snowing allot harder there than in the city
Really just getting started here, vid doesn't show it well but it's coming down in big fluffy flakes. Supposed to snow all weekend now. I salted all the contracts already to get a decent brine layer, but I'd expect I'll be out plowing all damn weekend. A bunch of my contracts are emergency services and municipal sidewalks that need to be kept clear 24/7-365.

hold onto that shit for a couple more days man... the fuckin tire shop didn't get my tires in today so I have to wait till monday. if what they're predicting actually falls down here, the fuckin city is gonna be shut down. again. because they're fucking stupid here and don't have snowmen like you to do the job of getting shit cleared up efficiently.

There is a story behind that lol...

So a couple weeks ago I took the ferry over to Nanaimo to have the new V plow mounted on my '06 F250. Wasn't 50m off the boat and the prick broke down on the side of the road. Thankfully BEFORE I had the plow mounted.

I had a moment of oh shit..what now. Then decided that I can't run a reliable service with unreliable equipment. I need at least one of my trucks to be newer and more trustworthy. So I had my '06 towed to the shop, wife picked me up and we went truck shopping. Found this lease return 2017 F250 super duty for sale in town, and called the plow supplier to see if they could get me a mount for it since it's different than the mount for the older truck, they could, so I said fuckit and bought it. Only 42000km on it, easily the nicest vehicle I've ever owned.
I have reached a point with my company that I can write off most of the cost and we had planned on buying a new truck in the spring anyway.. just weird timing that forced my hand a bit early.

Then like it was fate, the very next day I scored the headache rack and rails plus a Dewalt toolbox that all fit like a glove for a cool 180 bucks lol.

The best was the beacon lights. I got 2 x plug in type.. get home, the 12v outlets in the 350 aren't working so had to hard wire it, and the new 250 has "military grade aluminum🤣" body panels so the light didn't stick. Had to screw a metal electrical receptacle cover to the headache rack for the beacon light.. lol. It seriously never ends.. its always something.

makes me wanna start a business lol been passively shopping for a diesel rig for the past few months. having the ability to write off the cost would be beautiful given the premium fuckers are charging for em these days. wouldn't get a power joke though. cold blooded bitches hate starting if it's below like 70F.

I've given up on the thought of buying a diesel. Damn things are too damned expensive. If I was hauling heavy equipment It would be a no brainer.
This one has the 6.2 boss, gas engine. Honestly it has a sick amount of power and has been great on gas. But my gas is a write off too...
For me, I do a ton of stops and starts in the summer with the mowing side of the business, so in that respect you are better off with a gasser anyway. Diesels don't like being started and cooled down 20 times a day.

It's actually almost indistinguishable comparing both outside rows. Health wise, they're both very and nice green, no obvious deficiencies, and they're both uptaking the same amount of food and water now.

Merry Christmas Dirt to you and your family.

You have me wondering what the gradient of better results are. That room, if run full LED has the potential to increase light output, what, 3-5 times the current LEDs draw. Would your growth results be 3-5 times better or are the diminishing returns too great.

Additionally you can take all that to another level with the introduction of co2 by what @Aqua Man says roughly 20%. It really has me thinking, because I like your approach of just giving then enough and no more. Let them pull their weight vs you trying to push their weight. So if increasing the aforementioned inputs do not truly drive substantial change then you have answered a lot of questions for me.

I do not expect an answer more just thinking out loud as I typed.

And then the next level?

a TAG/HPA (Aeroponic system) if you're talking speed of growth.

yeah, that's the most appealing thing about this show imo. seeing the end results will be somewhat telling, and of course as long as all of us keep pestering @Dirtbag to get some damn co2 already, we might get to see some absolute monsters come out of that room.
