The BD is one of the cross seeds that will go into a 1 gal pot
Still waiting for the 2 DP to pop, dammmm!

Ya had one under them but turned it off, Soil temp is 72° - 74° without it.

I thought about it and what do I have to lose so turned on the mat to 76°
Lowered the light to an inch or two above the Gold Leaf 3" and Blue Dream 2"
If nothing happens by Thurs or Fri I will hav to start germinating new seeds Again.
3rd trys a charm they say.

Transplanted to mini pots GL and BD
All went well and they are in the cellar tent now.
Temp high 70's Hummy will be at 60%
Just set up so waiting for temps and hummy to settle in.
Exhaust fan and intake are set on lowest they can go.
Waiting to turn on 6" air mover fan.
MarsHydro TS1000 set at 25% 12" above

These 2 are going into 1 gal. pots and will be set in the
middle between the 4 Auto Pots.

Only 1 of the store brought seeds has popped it's head outta
the dirt and CP is not doing well. It sorta stalled with it
sticking out of the dirt 1/4 inch with shell on.
I don't have much faith it will survive.

Not one of the Gorilla Glue seeds which were replaced because none of the other 5 germed
and nada on the Durban Poison either.
I am going to stick to the methode that got me the most germ'd seeds so fingers crossed this time.

Going to try germinating 4 more seeds starting tonight,
they go in for a soak in a glass of water then,
36 hrs later. they go into wet paper towels, then into zip lock bags
then it's wait n see.

A Gorilla Glue for the unteenth time.
1 Durban Poison and my favorite Cherry Pie.
All In wet paper towels in baggies.
I seen some tap root showing but barely noticable on 3.
Not seen on the Pink Tuna tho, so that one is suspect.
If PT fails to germ I guess I will use one from the tent.
Temp in the room is a balmy 85°

Both plants in tent doing well but GL looks a bit pale green to me.
I gave it some Dyna Grow Foilage Pro @ 375 PPM yesterday.
She (GL) still looks light green with a burn tip now.
Needs N I think but will wait a bit before I kill it lol
Smaller one is BD, seems ok but leafs look funny maybe just the strain.

Temp in tent is 80° hummy 40% not high enough so either a 2nd humidifier or
maybe just turn off the exhaust fan and let the intake fan push air out
so it stays in the tent longer and get up to 60%, trying that first.

The weather outside is crazy, we're at 47°
Now, this is Niagara Falls, NY, I live a stones throw from the Canada border
This time of year I am usually knee deep in snow and ice.

You like the Cherry Pie do you? I'm getting tired of growing males then tossing them out after spending time growing them. I'm going to be feminized seed hunting at a hydro shop I go to in the city soon. I'll keep my eye out for them. Along with Wedding Cake girl Scout Cookies, Gorilla Glue, or??? & a pack of Bomb seeds. I've liked their stuff so far and they've been cheap here $35Cdn for 5 More name brand stuff is more expensive so I'll have to see what I can afford. I've now grow 10 full sized BB from the 5 seeds....I'm in need of another brand but its been a good run with them....I'd have more but I killed 6 out of 7 clones...I still have 1 thriving in a new pot.

Humidity low
Tried all day to get it to 60%, not gonna happen lol
2 cool mist hummies got to 52% before they blew the fuse on the power strip.
Next I stuck a Vornado hummy thing in there and only 37%, waste of time.
Then put a pan of water, with a towel in it to wick, on top of the oil heater
and 1 cool mist hummy on high, 43% and that's it for me, done.
Not even sure what could get the hummy up that high except to shut off the intake fan. lol

Only other thing I did today is mix some Fish Fert (5-1-1) with water
to squirt a bit on the soil near them, maybe that will get them the N they need.

2 seeds germed with very nice 2" tap roots
I was genuinely surprised how fast and long they were.
Durban Poison and Gorilla Glue. GG had a monster tr
Cherry Pie opened and I can see the tr but it didn't come out yet so wait an see
Pink Tuna might be a dud nothing happening there so far.
I think the warmth of the room finally did it.
Heat mat seems to not work right so just moved
the tray holding the baggies nearer to the oil heater.
2 in the dirt and under the T5.
PH of run off said 7.0 eh
PPM of the run off was 187 I guess that's ok.
Now if CP will hurry up and catch up to the others.
Wish I took a pic but got so excited I had to plant them right away.

Plants in tent doing much better since I fed them.
I always relied on the soil to provide nuitrients for the first 2 weeks.
I guess I have to recalculate when buying dif soil.

Seedlings are doing fine, one is awsome (GG) the other (DP) is a late bloomer
and just got seed off but leaves didn't spread out yet.
CP didn't make it so I am soaking the last seed

You need a bigger humidifier. right now outside its 75% but in my grow rooms in the basement it is 45% I have 2 humidifiers running 24/7 I'm buying 15 gallons ( $6/ week ) bottle RO water to use in them and I just purchased a 4 part reverse osmosis system + a pre-filter set up just for the humidifiers.it gets real dry in Jan Feb 10% and even my flower room needs humidifiers running. I have a sm Vicks vaporizer set at about 50% running in my small seed box when I need it running.

None of the CP seeds germed.

The 2 seeds that did (GG-DP) and was put in dirt to grow, didn't.
They got about 1.5-2" and stalled, the leaves of GG don't look right.
Niether does the DP. top still closed not opening its leaves if it has any.
I moved them to the cellar out of desperation to save em.

Then there was the outage.
For some unknown reason the main power strip that all lights
are on along with the steamer and oil heater is pluged into, tripped.
I guess according to the app I have for reading the temp and hummy
from the tent, says it shut down about 1-1:30 am so didn't find out about it
till 9 am when I checked to refill the steamer.
My wife says maybe a power surge?
Dunno, don't care, it was a fluke but how it will effect the plants idk

Last feed for BD and GL was 450 PPM
I will up that to 500 PPM next feed.
They are looking much better since I added fish fert the first 2 feeds.
They go into 1 gal pots soon.

Smoking in the mornings now I find I get a better more intense high than at night.
A few puffs do me for half a day. At night I think the high gets washed out by the booze lol.

Usually I get a better view of the plant from posting these pic's, let's see now.....

Can't get the humy up with 4 gal. vornado and 1 gal steamer
only gets to37%
Plants that are growing are doing alright I guess.
None of the CP seeds germd and so far 1 of 2 DP got a little tr showing.
It's only been half a day.

I have a heat mat with the controller and it has it's problems.
I set it for 72 F but when the room temp goes above 72 it turns off.
I guess the prob has to be put in the dirt or somewhere it won't
feel the room temp. If I didn't use the controller it would heat up to 80
too much for seeds. I put it under the seed bags on a plate with a plate covering.
Let's see how that works out.

under the same conditions and some give me a hard time.

I'm 2 months behind.
I am thinking of options at this point.
I could grow the two I have and hope for the best.
I could use them as mothers and take the clones this spring.
But I've never did a clone so whole new thing for me.
lol like I need a new thing to learn right now.
I am not sure I will use the auto pots this time but
if I can get out of this downward spiral, maybe.

I've been a lousy cloner myself...I have had streaks where I get 9/10.and others like now where I fried them again. One day great next day WTF all yellow and wilted...Okay Bubble cloner time.. Simple, small tote with lid 6 - 8 holes with foam collars aquarium pump a splitter for multiple air stones....I've been at it all day just figuring out What - Where - how much - & when..... I watched a couple of UT videos today and it looks like as long as I have bubbles under / in each cutting I'm good to go. That's the plan......now the action part......lol.....I'm not as good on that end...

[Kuwl you are 2 months ahead of if you had never started -- dont be so hard on yourself.
For the seed germination you might try gibberillic acid only one or two drops in properly phd water. Scar/score/scratch the seeds first. Use a ceramic cup with a lid to keep it dark. 24 soak then use that water to dampen coffee filters and place in warm area. Hey man, you might benefit from California cup style cloning then, super easy and simple

Cutting
Gel
Coco
Cup
Place another cup upside down into the cup, spray once or put over steam then cover

73 yrs old today been in this forum for awhile now and am still learning.
Not sure why these seeds so tough.
Dam heat mat is not getting warm keep upping the temp
by one degree at a time to get it to kick on without getting to warm.
Room temp is 72° Mat controller is now at 77° but not warm yet.
I put the probe between the plates on the bags.

Seems like the 2 tent plants are in suspended animation.
No growth at all just sitting there. lol

I've heard of scaring the seed trick before some where I read it.
Will try that if nothing happens with these.
One problem is the seed opens a taproot shows but just a 16 of an inch
then it stalls and does not get bigger.

Hey, way too wet for the seeds. imho.....that towel should have been wrung out before you put seeds on it & another wrung out towel on top....no need for all that water. I've been using spring water for the soak and wrung out paper towels in small sealed plastic containers..I was putting them on my aquarium 30c - 86f and within 24 hrs they are all popping. The mat I bought got a bit warm so I put the containers on a plate to insulate it a bit...work 100% this time......this pic is after 24hrs...the containers are damp inside but no extra water
