If you put in a cup of water and stir the water with a straw it will grow!
I was just thinking the stagnant water def doesn’t help, so I started gently whisking the cup around when I go in, the cup has 3 cuts, 1 has a root the other two got them white bumps

I was talking to my brother about this last night. In the 90s there was a lot of brick weed from the cartels and most of what people could easily score was brick weed but there were always cats you could score the good shit from too. Skunk, Sour Diesel, Thai etc... and they were beautiful, stinky, natural looking buds. Could smell it a block away, especially skunk. I don’t remember the last time I had some Chocolate Thai but that shit ain’t around anymore lol. Now it’s all these big dense lightly fragrant buds that look overly manicured and like a damn 3D printer was used to produce them. Now that its legal in my state it got even harder to find the good stuff. These buds people are paying $300-$400 an ounce for are bullshit. They suck. They look over manufactured, lack smell, lack taste and you know what?? They aren’t sticky at all. I remember good stuff from the 90s you didn’t “break” the bud apart...you pulled it apart because it was so sticky it was like they had been grown with honey instead of water lol. Especially Thai. That stuff was incredible. I’d love to find some of those genetics they must be out there somewhere still.

Good post, Thai yes one time at a Grateful Dead show east coast, this girl was not only cute as hell and cool (Colorado )she had some
Panama red, first hit I was wow I did not get to taste stuff like that too often. You needed a good dealer and he did not get good stuff all the time. Not until you got that California weed connection. Fools gold weed was around, fake golden a lot of good, weed from California popcorn buds we would call them. I finally made contact with a truck driver who worked the NJ docks, drove containers around. He supplied me for awhile. Was not easy tracking down good herb.
Full time Job!

I have noticed, from some of these dispensaries “top shelf” is just TERRIBLE went to one the other day with my dad and one of them smelled like hay, improper dry/cure

i know what you mean, bud crumbling to dust or pulling it apart because it’s so sticky and isn’t dry as the devils balls
