Hey. I have a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience. Nomenclature is important in my field. Just an opinion. Why not learn and use it correctly instead of giving someone who's giving you information that you're obviously unaware of a hard time by being all snarky. Personally, I don't really give a crap about you or your grow beyond trying to improve the field as a whole. As others have pointed out and as I've made abundantly clear in my grow thread and other places, I am far from an expert. You seem like a nice guy, but for Christ's sake stop yammering on and expecting people to hold your hand and baby you through your first grow. Most of the crap you keep on agonizing over is easily covered, numerous times by a simple search. Probably shouldn't post when I've been drinking but that's just brutal honesty for you.
If you didn’t give a crap you wouldn’t continue going on rants. But it’s ok, this thread is open to whoever and whatever. Some people are watching this thread and learning a lot as prospective or first, hell maybe even 10th time growers. Maybe that’s why you’re here. But it’s not a contest. In science, you gather all of the info, put the facts in order then sift through the information for evidence leading to discovery. That’s how I like to approach learning new things. Thats not people holding hands...that’s called research, brother. Pulling information from multiple sources and breaking down the evidentiary facts. So like I said....referring to the toilet as “the john” is the least of concern if you’re job is to build one. As long as everyone knows what you mean. But I have a feeling you know this already...😉

^^ Lol dude cracks me up ^^

Anyway, I think it’s fair to say @SpiderFarmerLED hooked it up nicely. Full spectrum wall to wall coverage with the SE5000. You can see the UV and IR diodes in the pics, I’ll snag a better one tomorrow. Can’t wait to see how it performs throughout the whole flowering phase.

Trying to better myself and teach others at the same time is a crime? Asshats like you are what ignore is for. Bye.
Haha I see that neuroscience taught him some mental gymnastics. That is precious how quickly he went from condescending and rude to being the victim. Notice I didn't call any names but that was his immediate first resort...then he goes straight to the ignore, classic. Some people can dish it out but just can't take it.

Nothing wrong with being curious and asking questions @Dothraki...I'm pretty sure that's what this forum is all about. Keep doing your thing✌️

Still wanna grow 5 plants in a 3 x 3?
I’ll have to figure out a way to shrink them. I was hoping for smaller plants but they just went all crazy after I flipped to flower lol. Now instead of 5 plants in 1 tent...I have 2 plants in TWO tents! 😡

Maybe next grow they stay in solo cups 😁

Good luck with that ... Solo cup challenges are fun but don't typically reward you with a good yield of buds.

Seriously now ... I wouldn't try to shrink your plants. I'd look at blowing up the tent .... If space is limited, look at grabbing a 2.5' x 5'. You can grow 3 plants rather comfortably. All are in a row for easy watering. No more playing twister when you water the plants.

Otherwise, even a 4 x 4 is pretty small when you get right down to using it ... small, but at least it's functional for up to 4 plants comfortably. Just my opinion ...

I think if I top and train them I could fit 4 comfortably in the tent just based off what I see others doing...maybe I’ll give it a go next time. Theres a wall I’ve thought about knocking out and just building an area but would like to get a better idea of what I can do in a small space first. I do like how they grow without topping and tying but obviously it isn’t going to let me do 3 or 4 in a tent lol. For me it’s all about having variety so maybe train them to stay small and take up less space, maybe 2 gallon fabric w same medium. I’d be watering twice a day or more in smaller pots though.

Although, once I start getting a rotation of a couple grows down, the variety will naturally accumulate...decisions decisions.

After you've been at it a while, your stock will build up. Once this current run is finished, it will be 2 tents cycling constantly for 15 months. We'll be taking a break from growing over the summer months. Time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

The bud jar shelf contains the following:
Sugar Black Rose
Cookies N Cream
shiskaberry
Wedding Cake
Early Skunk
GDP
Caramello
Sour D
Skywalker Kush

In March, we'll add Lime skunk, Lemon Sunrise, Cinderella 99, and Runtz muffin.

Was sour d from seed? Wondering if you found a good seed representation cause I’d love to grow Sour Diesel but not sure who to trust for seeds. I was banking on the Sour Power bagseed I had but was a male...still have 2 left so might try and run them still.

This is what I grew:

It's not an original cut. It's good, better than most. Mine is still curing so I have not reached peak taste with it yet.

Kevin Jodrey is working on bringing back the old school strains but I can’t seem to find anywhere to look at his projects or buy seeds. Maybe he’s working with other breeders and doesn’t sell them to anyone?

Found a new tiny bud with a ball sack on the PUDC Hermie, pinched it off...keeping a close eye on it. If I can get through the next 4-6 weeks without pollination...this might be one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

The Lemongrass is showing some signs of issues, so I’m going to run an experiment. I’m convinced my water is causing the issues. Starting tomorrow I’ll be feeding with a 1/2 tap water, 1/2 distilled water mix. Heres what the rust spots look like. I rubbed them with my finger and no powdery substance, nothing came off. So I think it’s a nutrient issue caused by my tap water.

There is one leaf on the plant that looks more extreme, but it’s the only one this bad

Also have a random droopy leaf that’s been droopy for days, but not the whole plant. Also has a little rust.

According to this chart my plain water readings are...

Tap: Total Hardness looks around 300ppm, PH 8.4

Tap/Distilled: Total Hardness 150ppm, PH 7.8

I’m hoping mixing distilled bring down the ppm and ph will help with nutrient uptake

Left=Tap/Distilled Right=Tap (dechlorinate by sitting 2-3 days)

Did you call Mantis and ask for a refund? Sorry, I couldn't resist... Hope you work things out. If that doesn't work, just get a bottle of dynabloom-problem solved.

I didn’t ask for a refund...I guess technically everything still looks good but a few leaves. Just don’t want it to surprise me by spreading super quick, I assume that can happen. I’ll look into dynabloom, thanks!

Wow tough water to work with.
Yeah I figured it’s what was giving me problems. Adding 1/2 distilled looks like it might help a tiny bit (according to the strip) but I’m guessing I’ll need to figure something out for the next grow. I’ll start with 1/2 and 1/2 today and hope it helps. These buds are smelling so damn good I can’t let my water f*#k it up. I’ll use bottled spring water if I have to lol.
