These ones are almost 7 years old. The ones before that were older than that. Only ever owned 2 sets of pens and a truncheon in 20+ years of gardening. Taken care of they last a long time. Gotta hang them upright and keep actual storage solution in the ph pen cap, and clean the ppm electrodes with glass stove top cleaner once every couple weeks.i need to get a bluelab...
I play also. A friend built one and it had a great sound. He built it to be plugged in.lol nah making a reference to a pick. i'm a guitar player myself, and actually started on something similar to what OD builds. Remember the flat tone and absolute lack of resonance my first guitar had. i just think those cigar boxes are comparable to such quality tones.
i make a huge mess if its in the cap, so i put it in a cup and put the ph pen in there. what do you do for ec pen? These ones are almost 7 years old. The ones before that were older than that. @tobh dig this guy. Not sure if you heard of him but he was a Vancouver island dude that drifted around here for a bit. Unreal musician, and total street kid. Died a couple months ago on the streets in Edmonton of a presumed OD.
Unreal though. Hes got the feels.
This was from a backyard bonfire here on Vancouver island.
Works amazing. Mild abrasive removes any film, put a little dab on a paper towel and rub the electrodes until you see the paper towel start going black. Rinse.. done. I use this stuff literally biweekly. Keeps readings accurate."Glass stove top cleaner "
Thanks for that
I wouldn't be surprised man. He was a train hopper. The way he sings that tune though just hits me. All about the love affair with beer.i'm pretty sure i met this cat back when i was running with the graffiti crews and hobos. pre-kids. ended up at a party where someone that looked uncannily like this cat was playing and singing louder than fuck while my brother awok and i were out doing our thing. if he rode trains, i'm sure him and i crossed paths at some point. bygone era of a time that looking back was simpler, when back then it felt like utter chaos. things were one track back then.
