The color on my iPad changes the coloring a bit, but you should be able to notice difference between yellower leaves and darker green ones

I can see the color difference but it doesn't appear to be cause for alarm. My widows are night and day from each other and the chems aren't the same either. Sometimes one was showing signs of issues while the other wasn't and vice versa. One thing that I think helped whem I felt was having an issue that was similar is I stopped giving 100% RO water cause it made the PH too low. I then started researching nutrient availability charts and further realized it may be of benefit for me to lean the opposite side of 6 more. I also flushed and the one with the issue was having runoff that was 5 or lower. So I started adding roughly 50/50 tap water and pulled my PH to around 6.25 and I think it has helped. What do you think would happen if you got yours up to around that and see how they respond?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that sounds like a good idea, I’ve been at 5.85-5.95 for a while. I’m gonna bump it up to 6-6.2 and see how they respond. Your right, researching the nutrient availability chart is legit way to solve lots of issues, gonna make it my background and study it lol.

Yeah you can see how "swinging" a bit back and forth could be of benefit. I bet it may help and I wouldn't be afraid to push it a bit more if start seeing a benefit. We got this 💪

I only run the Five point nine when in clone stage. As soon as I cup I run it from six to six two, allowing it to build to six point five making everything happy 🙃

Yeah I’ve heard people say 5.8 with coco, others say 6.0. I went 5.9 figured it was neatly in between those two. What is your reasoning for finishing at 6.2-6.5 @CannaGranny? I will definitely be increasing the ph to 6.1 for a day or two and see, then maybe increase it to 6.2. Funnily though, my ph pen broke today so I just ordered the blue lab ph pen so I’ll be able to really dial it in.
Only the big girl and one other ones look yellow, so I guess the other two are a bit more ph nutrient balanced?

I'm in 50/50 coco and know they say you should run lower ph by a bit but that doesn't alter the facts about that chart you posted. Look what WE are technically slightly deficient in when run anything under 6.5. When between 5.75-6 25, NPK and like 5 other nutrients are less available. I don't even ph anymore lol because I know I solved things by accepting I was wrong about my PH and that if I raised it to 6.25-6 5 I would be good. And when I add 50/50 tap/RO water plus nutes that is what it comes out at. If I do 100% RO it is like 5.85. Next run I am going to keep it in mind more and make sure I'm "swinging" more to ensure not locking anythin out.
Lol look how baked I am. Ised my stylus to show what I mean about that chart. Only iron and chlorine are worse yet there are about 8 that are better when raise the ph. We are just slightly too acidic

I assume 50/50 coco and perlite? I went 100% coco cuz I emailed Canna and they said to run it like that, and if in a bigger pot like 5 gal, to use a layer of hydroton at the bottom, but it seems it works well both ways. And yeah dude it sucks that I didn’t realize the ph was a bit low, but it’s all a learning experience. Hopefully a slight ph imbalance won’t affect my bud too much, plant looks healthy as so I’m crossing my fingers, And yeah dude your stoned ph demonstration is good, really shows that a higher ph is better, at least later in the plants life. Got some cereal milk weed yesterday and damn, you gotta try that strain if you can it’s the bee’s knees.

It’s a point that no nutes are being locked out. Splitting it down the middle so to speak. I have a blue lab pen, and I’m real particular about it! Make sure you calibrate the new one, I’m sure you do, but many ppl look shocked when I see ph probs in the grow, and say they had no idea they were supposed to do that. You will need some distilled water to do the blue lab too.

Yeah I figure I might have been messin the ph up with my pen due to it not being calibrated correctly. Was my second cheapo ph pen, so I learned my lesson and got the bluelab cuz I am not fooling around anymore lol. And that makes sense to be down the middle to prevent lockouts, that’s kind of what I was trying to do with 5.i but evidently it’s too acidic for later life. Thanks again for the help!

Truth is without a calibration, no telling what the real numbers are. Most anytime you see the plant begin to yellow up top, it’s most always a ph prob. The blue lab pen requires a liquid to be placed in the cap at three to five drops at a time. A small package should come with your pen. Find a container to put your left over in, you will be needing it. I ordered extra. Watch a YT vid on how to properly clean your pen as well. I really appreciate the blue lab as it gives me the water temp etc.
These ladies are rocking and frosting! Pics up Sunday 😍

@CannaGranny are you referring to the "soaking solution" that some pens come with? My apera pc60 came with some but I am not sure if it is supposed to soak in it whenever not in use

I will have to look at the package to give you the exact name. This stuff you drop three to five drops in the pen cap. When I get home I will check that for you.

Thanks cuz I am also curious about this, calibration and storage is sooo important for ph pens evidently. Good stuff Cannagranny!!

Is it me or is growin sometimes like Christmas morning every day? 🤗 I haven't seen the girls since yesterday early evening and I'm a bit giddy to go look lol
I agree, it’s something to look forwards to every morning for sure, it’s better than Christmas too cuz we get to grow year round! I for one am already planning next grow lol

On the blue lab pen that stuff is simply called storage solution. You can buy the kit on Amazon. It also has recalibration fluid and a small soft brush for cleaning.
Started my new stuff today! I plant and garden via the signs are we are headed into a barren period for a few days after the seventeenth. Getting ready for the next round. Whoooooooop whoooooooop!

Awesome! What are you planting if I may ask? And got the pen, and I also got some extra storage solution, it’s soaking for 25 hours, tomorrow I’ll be able to see what ph I’ve been running. I mixed some new nutes today and didn’t ph it, and it naturally falls around 6.2ph without adjusting so hopefully the leaves will green up a little next few days. I was also thinking it could be a calcium deficiency due to me running the lights a bit too close? So I added a little extra calmag to the mid bloom recipe I’m running, just in case.
