Transplant into final pot, 5 gal cloth. Watered in with 1 liter of distilled water.
I have my exhaust fan on the outside which I thought was right ,this is my first grow just finished ,everyone that I have spoke to has said put the exhaust fan and filter in the tent that works much better, it was explained to me when put fan on outside the air goes straight down the ducting like a black hole real quick ,and if u put the fan outside u should take the sock off and roll it up long ways and put it inside the filter like a news paper rolled up as it isn’t designed to be on the outside ,on the outside I have to much negative pressure and have to open a vent as it runs to hard ,I dont have a controller just 1 speed ,my tent is 3 meters x 1.5 meters (10 f x5 ft) shop where I got tent and exhause fan from said it was right size and told me as well to put it in tent ( after nearly finished grow they told me they when I complained about to much negative pressure) not sure where to put it now ?Fantastic! I would look for a project box or something to install the dimmer into. I use Sierra bullet boxs for those type of projects. There the right color and work great. Plus as a loader I always have them in a trash can I can dig one out of. :) Hopefully that tent came with more ceiling bars so you can use the yoyo's and hang the light correctly. You can also put the exhaust fan outside the tent and blow into the carbon filter. I set my exhaust fan and filter on the top of my tents. Wife sews one end of the prefilter closed and I then put it in the carbon filter. Then slip the filter and fan together. As a 30 year pump/fan/blower tech and manufacture rep. All fans/blowers/pumps always blow/pump far better than they suck. When you put a pressure drop on the suction side you take 30% to 40% efficiency and cfm/gpm right off the top because the fan/impeller mathematically can not be loaded properly. If the filter is on the discharge side the suction side remains fully loaded and all that is being done is we are inducing head/psi and using what little psi the fan will make to maintain the cfm in this application and keep the fan blade loaded and not cavitating. Wife and I are very happy for you and wish you happy growing! Get your grow going and some pretty flower and I will send them to the lady at HLG that helped us out.
A fan is a pump and pumps pump. It's all about pressure drop. You never put a pressure drop on the suction side of a pump unless you have to. If your going to run your filter on the discharge side of the fan then sew one end of the prefilter together and put it inside your carbon filter as a bag filter then slip them together. Then run the shortest amount of flex duct from the tent to the suction side of the fan. When you have the prefilter and carbon filter on the suction side of the fan it causes a massive pressure drop across the fan itself due to the pressure drop of the prefilter and carbon filter. Thus the fan cannot load right and CFM tanks to about half of what the manufacture claims. If you put the filter system on the discharge side of the fan we call that inducing head. The fan stays fully loaded with no cavatation and you only lose about a 1/3 of your CFM across the fan. CFM for these fans is measured with no filter on either side of the fan. I spent well over 30 years in the pump, blower, fan, boiler, chiller, duct and piping world and was a manufactures rep the last 20 years. I've spent countless hours doing the testing, math, building curves to show people and there eyes gloss over. And then comes the stoner bro science.I have my exhaust fan on the outside which I thought was right ,this is my first grow just finished ,everyone that I have spoke to has said put the exhaust fan and filter in the tent that works much better, it was explained to me when put fan on outside the air goes straight down the ducting like a black hole real quick ,and if u put the fan outside u should take the sock off and roll it up long ways and put it inside the filter like a news paper rolled up as it isn’t designed to be on the outside ,on the outside I have to much negative pressure and have to open a vent as it runs to hard ,I dont have a controller just 1 speed ,my tent is 3 meters x 1.5 meters (10 f x5 ft) shop where I got tent and exhause fan from said it was right size and told me as well to put it in tent ( after nearly finished grow they told me they when I complained about to much negative pressure) not sure where to put it now ?
Ok awesome, that'll help thank you! I should've thought of that haha, I've been babying the light and trying to mess with it itself as little as possible. Solid Gold right thereFold your hang cables over....
Just keep air moving above the light. I always keep one 6" clip on fan blowing on a low setting on the top side of my lights. I would start getting some training in. If they stretch on you a screwing will come your way. Also is that lower vent panel next to a wall? If so you need to open it up. Of you hopefully have another vent open so fresh cool air can flow through the tent. Next week they are calling for 100 plus temps in my area. If your worried about light getting through the vent panel or one of your other opening. Put a pool noodle in next to the inlet air vent to block light. If I get a new motorcycle bought in the next few weeks I will be down your way to break it in you know where. :)Ok awesome, that'll help thank you! Okay I should be okay on fans I think then, I've got one clipped to the ceiling pointed partially at the light as well as the one on the floor pointed along the wall next to the plants.Just keep air moving above the light.
