So in the video you said it was wet but you still watered , can you explain that? Also how often are you watering?

Fabric pots & soil with high drainage :) it takes a serious amount of effort to over water my plants. Like I would need to saturate the medium, saturate the fabric pot, and then also leave about 3" of runoff sitting in the tray for the plant to be what I consider "over watered"

I'm not too concerned with "over-watering" unless the pot is completely saturated and sitting in inches of runoff. I know my plants well enough to know that if I didn't water that "semi-wet" pot that it would have been BONE DRY by the time the lights came on the next day. So it got watered with about 30% of the water that the "dry" plant got. Once they get going in flower they drink a couple L of water per day so I am watering almost every day. The only time they don't get watered is if the plants are still fairly saturated from the day before which is pretty rare. You saw me water the "wet" plant but you didn't see any runoff and the plant also sucked up whatever water I poured in the tray within about 30 seconds so just kind of gave it a "top up" for the day 🤙

.
Plants are looking excellent man.

Thanks, you creep 😂

There is no right answer unfortunately. You water when the plants need the water and that changes depending on what phase of growth you're in, what kind of pot you're using, what size of pot you're using and also changes from grow environment to grow environment. You will have to just watch and see how fast your pots tend to dry out after fully saturating them - it might be 3 days, 5 days, or once every day. It will change as you go and the plants grow.

At this point I am watering practically every day about 3-4L per 5 gallon fabric pot. A general rule of thumb with organics/soil is that when you see the top soil dry/crumbly and the soil is separating from the edge of the pot you should see that as a sign to water.

Sheesh! that's crazy but that makes sense. I always thought soil was like once a week but now that i've grown a few rounds I get that plants drink at different speeds. So I guess i'll go bigger pot as well! haha

Haha it really all depends on the grow etc. I push my plants pretty hard and I've got 600w running full blast in a 4x4 tent so the plants transpire and drink up quite a bit of water. If I wanted to I could switch to plastic pots which would probably let me go an extra day maybe two longer before I would have to water but I personally prefer fabric pots for their other benefits (increased root oxygen intake, improved drainage, the "wicking" ability)

When they are really little and in smaller pots they might go ~5 days without watering but that phase is usually over very quickly. Or do like @PrimoClonesCanada suggested and look into Blumat's

With organic soil you never want your pots to dry right out. Should always stay at least a bit moist. Any wilting is not good for your soil or your plant.
Good trick is to keep a pot filled with your medium by your grow so you can feel the difference between weights of the pots. You want it to be a bit heavier than the pot with no plant before you water.

Yeah things are filling up nicely I am getting excited! About 4 weeks to go yeah I'm thinking at the end of August they will probably be ready for chop time. The smells are off the charts and I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks and watching them evolve.

Well my old water bong was so full of resin and beaten up that I decided it was time to get a replacement! To my surprise they had an upgrade to the old Globe that I used. Let me introduce you to the Sneaky Pete Mega Cube 😎

I've got it hooked up to my vaporizer of choice - The Sublimator. It's a vape that not many people know about and it's a damn shame because I have not to this day seen any other vaporizer get even CLOSE to the thickness, flavor and high that I get from this thing. Anyways here's a little demo:
