No time wasted eh buddy! This should be a fun one let’s f-ing Go!
Hahaha nope, the tent cleaning and germination processes are enough time in between already 🤣

Yeah I'm stoked for this one. Really hoping for a female on the Madmartigan cross, either way I'm interested in seeing the plant structure with the og male or female

Ya know what, I think I will. Nothing beats popping beans lmao

In time as I get my feet under me, I hope to have rooms where I can pop endless amounts. Tents are cool, but I think I want rooms
I have a 100 in my room right now lol, start of week theee and I’m going in to take a cut off everyone so I don’t miss out on a keeper. Long day ahead and I’m sitting here smoking weed 🙃

LMAO that sounds like me. Sitting there smoking weed, thinking about how long something will take Instead of getting started 🤣
And damn dude that's awesome though, I need to start taking cuts. Even if I don't have a proper way to keep them or finish them I need to get some rooting experience for when I do.

I think this pure Michigan x Cinderella Man #4 is gonna be one that got away for me. Haven't smoked it yet granted but so far it's got the smells and looks. The smell on her is closer to a black licorice smell 🤤

Well keeping you company with PNG x Kashmir and Gelato 33 x Cindarella Man here on day 13 since breaking through the soil. They have been on 24 hours from the beginning -- and I am happy with the progress. Watered yesterday...Gelato leaves are a bit brownish, but perhaps they are supposed to be like that.

Well I've come to a conclusion and I'd like to document it.

Every time I planted seeds in the past I've taken the extra 30 seconds to make sure the seed is upside down so the root will come out of the top turn around and grow back down, and never had any issues with helmet head.

This grow, I threw all 3 beans in the dirt lazily on their side and sure enough 3 out of 3 sprouted with helmet head.

Conclusion, it does make a difference the way you position the seed in the dirt. Helmet head is no biggie but still not ideal 🤷

I've always known this from research but actually witnessed the difference with my own eyes recently

The Original Og x Madmartigan doesn't want to take it's helmet off so I dropped some water on it 👍

The other two beans I started soaking yesterday will get planted within the next few hours, they haven't cracked but they've sunk. Good enough for me these days.

Heres the ORS baby ladies

RH hasn't gotten above 35‰ in the last 4 days, and it's in the 20s with lights on. I'm thinking about getting a cheap humidifier for my living room and setting it up about halfway between both tents. Between the winter weather and the propane heater, not a lot of moisture floating around

Sounds good, the humidifier should help

I don't really know anything about humidifiers and all that jazz but this one fits my budget and has a 1 gallon tank capacity which I imagine can last 24 hours between filling.

It is also a warm mist humidifier which will be good in these winter months I think.

If I pull the trigger on this I will just set it up in the middle of my living room, fill it up every night, and hope it makes a noticeable difference.

Sure sounds like a lot of distilled water purchases though..

Disregard that last post.

Decided to call my mom to see if she had a humidifier she wasn't using and she goes "yeah I've got one somewhere you can have. Wait this isn't for your plants is it?" 🤣👀

Thanks mom. Sorry, love ya 😘🤣
and what you were about to buy is complete junk..

I’d recommend either the AC infinity cloudforge, or check on Amazon or your pet store for a reptile humidifier. They come with a hose and you can input the hose in your tent.
Cool beans man thanks! Yeah I see people running hoses from humidifiers into their tents all the time and think that's cool. If it was in the cards for me Id definitely be doing that but my two tents are about 16 ft apart so I'm kind of going with the hail Mary in the middle approach.

If it works hell yeah, if it doesn't at least I tried LOL. Maybe I can use this free one from my mom and then purchase a reptile one like you said! Looks like AC Infinity t3 is sold out right now.

Hey like build a soil says, everything works nothing doesn't.

Absolutely man, if I were you in that case I’d get a 5L minimum humidifier that does a good mist output. Get that room nice and humid to allow the tents to raise their humidity. The issue is most humidifiers bought at Walmart or drug stores is they’re used for when you get sick and is meant to be close to you. What you’re looking for is a room humidifier, this is the one I have and can raise the humidity quite well in a 300 sq ft room.

Edit: for this type of humidifier please make sure to use RO or distilled water to prevent residue buildup in your room and ruining your filters
