You don’t remove everyone it’s a very selective process - I used to be a guy who just couldn’t pluck healthy leaves - now I’m a believer that defoliation is needed based on skill level .

Oh I definitely defoliate and keep legs shaved... just something about those folks that say remove ALL the fans that rubs me the wrong way lol. We've all seen a post of someone that went way overboard I'm sure.

Most bat shit crazy dangerous medical advice~ Soaking dozens of smoked roaches in Everclear until it's a disgusting blackish green liquid. Drink the liquid for a great buzz and to cure all cancers

To increase yields~ Defoliating to the point the plant looks like it was in a hail storm...Red mylar on the walls....1000 watts per plant....Bloombastic.... GLH LED.....Bubbleponics....A ferret living in the grow room to be a CO2 generator

To increase potency~Defoliating to the point the plant looks like it was in a hail storm....Stab the plant with a thumb tack. It will think it's under attack by bugs and create more resin to defend itself....Insect frass for the same reason. Abuse, shake, curse, make faces at it, for the same reason.
UVB~jury is still out on that one and will return in 2087 with a verdict

To enhance flavor/terps~ Koolaid, fruit juice, sugar water and many more in the hydro rez or watered in soil the last two weeks of flowering. Misting buds with a honey and water mixture before harvest. Use honey as a paint and paint your buds before harvest. Dry the plant whole and intact

General info~ You need a $400, 13 bottle line of nutes to grow weed.....The color purple has a flavor

As I recall, it claimed that by isomerizing the weed, washing it with Everclear and then putting the stripped plant material back into the wash and removing the Everclear through evaporation and recondensing the pure alcohol, it would make your isomerized material more potent. Something about turning one of the cannibinoids, I can't remember which one, THCV?, into THC and thus more potent.
What I think I know now tells me that the oil I made was good oil and smoking it confirmed it was concentrated. But returning the oil to the plant material making it more potent??? That may have been good ole bro science??? Perhaps it did do some decarboxilating from the heat? I remember it was powered (heat sourse) by a light bulb in the bottom of the base and temp was controlled by a dimmer knob on the front.
Anyone else have one of these back in the 80's and remember the claims made about the machine?

Not sure if bro science or not, but on my first grow in tents i used a co2 bag. My temps and humidity weren’t even close to dialed in yet, and i hadn’t even heard of vpd yet, let alone how to control it. That was a rough grow for sure. I believe its been verified they just dont raise levels enough to be effective.

The Mary-Gro 75 watt grow light. I remember being 16 years old and ready to grow my own when I bought the Mary-Gro at a hardware store. I even had somebody go in to buy it for me like it was booze because I was scared I'd be arrested for buying it. It actually worked to a point, growing stretched out spindly plants in the back of my closet which never flowered because I had no idea weed was a phototropic plant so I didn't use a timer

I remember the isomizer thing.......I still have my High Times magazines from the 80s-90s, that's probably one of the things I passed on......

Grow bulbs?? How futuristic.......in like, 1983 I tried using an incandescent light bulb. I remember going out and buying a STRONGER incandescent bulb.....like 150, 200 watts or whatever it was at the time. I thought I was going to replicate Hawaii. And, because I was so brilliant, I used aluminum foil to make a reflector! To maximize the incandescent bulb's already powerful growth potential........

I grew seedlings that died.

I love my bong but I have been thinking about a nice vape, what's been working well for you?

Storz & Bickel. They make the volcano but i never understood the concept of pre-filling a balloon. But.....for home use, the "Plenty". Yes, it looks like a power drill, you plug it in, but in terms of taste, dialing the temp in, cooling coil/mouthpiece.......excellent, and well made. It should last years, longer if you treat it right.

But the "Mighty".......about the size of a small walkie talkie (these aren't made for stealth, but that's not the goal). Flower, hash, wax, chargeable, exact temp control......

I prefer a mod for cartridges over pens. There are a lot of good, small mods, the size of like, a C battery, that will dial in the right temp/wattage for getting a perfect vape hit from cartridges. E leaf is a good one but there are so many. I have a larger pen that takes carts, flower, wax/hash.......

When I first read about Blackstrap Molasses, it sounded intriguing but I was skeptical. Could it reall add a little sweetness? Probably not. Indoors it would probably attract bugs that would laugh at you behind your back.......

Outdoors? Eh, it's not very expensive, maybe a few jars of it poured into the soil in the last 2 weeks? Still........not buying it.....

But I did read a few articles that seemed fairly legit, that at least talked about micronutrients or emzymes, that the molasses would add......

Wait, you're bong hitting FROM the Plenty?? How much of a difference does that make? Does it take away any flavor?

They do charge too much for their products (only buy them on sale/wish a coupon code). But also buy extra parts, screens, mouthpiece, etc and put rhem away, you never know when they'll be discontinued. If you take care of them, with extra parts, it could last a lifetime....

It's to make it more smooth... I enjoy a good bong rip when I wanna get wrecked stat lol. Also like my vape, and joints, blunts my bubbler, edibles... variety is the spice of life as they say.
