Been following their schedule on 11 plants and haven’t fried any of them.

Edit: tbf, I also start on week 4 since the soil I use already has stuff in it.
Well i shouldnt have said what i did lol, Cause each plant is different, but when i ran full strength, my olants burned and turned to shit. So i cut back to half strength from then on and everything was so much better. I fed 3 times a week instead of 2 and had much better results. But everything works different for different people/grow styles.

Ive just seen a lot of growers on here who have had issues with the ff trio.

You shouldnt be feeding/watering every day unless you're in coco. I always ran with 30ml when i used fox farm.
i don’t feed it every day been feeding it like every 5 days or so. but i haven’t used plain PHd water only been using the nute water. so in 5 more days from yesterday i will feed again.
Okay, but have you been following the manufacturers dosage schedule?

If you’re not going to follow their instructions, why bother using their stuff?

If you only over watered, but still used the appropriate nutrients (ie, this schedule “up to 2 times per week”), then keep following their schedule.
i was following their instructions but i was unsure on how to water her. i never gave it a full gallon of nute water till everyone started helping me out

What size pot, how often are you watering? Whats soil are you using?

I agree if you run full strength when using soil that has been treated for use right out of the bag (happy frog, ocean forest, miracle grow, etc), you can easily burn your plants. After a month, though, half strength the first week to make sure nothing funny is going on, then follow the schedule afterward.

OP is beyond the 4 weeks wear down period for treated soil, so following the schedule until something shows up would be what I would do.

Just my $0.015 on it 😛

If you’re only using a half gallon, then make a half gallon only unless you have an air tight container like a garden sprayer to keep the mixture good for a few days (I wouldn’t personally use it after 3 days of sitting in a garden sprayer). Be sure to mix if you let it settle.

yeah i am using ocean forest for the soil but when i did my first feeding i did follow the week 4 of the trio

Yeah i always waited 4 to 5 weeks to start adding nutrients but still had issues. I never really cared for fox farm anything anyways. I just put the cart together to start using Shadeds Method.

Hmmm. I water my 5 gallon pots every other day or every 2 days. I think you might need more airflow in there and under the pot too

Yeah, I was gonna say 5 days sounds like a long time in between. I was watering my 5 gals every 2-3 days, *maybe* 4 towards the end.
yeah i just ordered some stands so airflow can get to the bottom but okay tomorrow i will post how heavy my plant feels and also see if the soil is still wet. i have 2 fans running up above so there’s airflow. but my humidity keeps dropping. are these fans in the right spots?

Ah that’s right. You have no airflow under the pots. That explains why it takes 5 days to drink (unless your humidity and temp is out of wack). Once you get those risers you should start seeing them needing water every 2-3 days.

okay cool, yeah i was unaware that the airflow on the bottom was that important. my stands will be here tomorrow and i think i’m going to get some PVC pipe to make them stand a little taller so my plastic catcher can catch the excess run off.

once i have them even with have those fans up there the bottom of the plant will still get airflow right? or should i move the fans lower?

My 2 fans are positioned 1 below the canopy angled up, and in the opposite corner, 1 above the canopy angled down.

I don’t think it’s necessary to worth while to have fans blowing on or under the pots.

Edit: pvc pipe stands sounds like a good idea ;)

could you send a pic of where and how your fans are positioned?

In my 2x4:

Top left corner (near the light), bottom right corner.

4x4 tent:

Both are on the same side, only because getting to the other side with everything in there is a chore. I also have 2 fans hanging from the top, but I haven’t used them yet and will likely be removing them since they aren’t in use.

Edit; it’s hard to see in the 4x4, but one is angled more up and the other is angled to the top of the canopy

okay that’s makes sense, might move one of mine so it is below the canopy and leave my one above. are you fans blowing in the canopy or around it?

A little bit of both. In the 2x4, I’m trying to just keep air circulating, so some of it is on the canopy, but also to the side.

In the 4x4, the fans were oscillating, but that stopped working a week after I got them, so now I have the 2 fans kind of crossing each other to get some air mixture, but it’s also partially on the canopy.

I try to make it so there’s no leaves getting blasted directly, pushing them back or twisting them, and instead try to get as many leaves and branches flowing in the breeze.

okay yeah that’s what i was told don’t have them directly on the canopy cause it could stress it out

Get a fan for on the floor to push air around down there too. I also didnt see an exhaust fan or ducting to a fan in there. Getting one will help you tremendously.
