Or is this so you can better gauge things and water accordingly?

perlite creates drainage by creating more air pockets in the mix so by not adding as much slows down the drying process just his way of doing things

no worries! also removing some fans leaves in the middle would be bad right? there’s a bunch of budsites underneath not getting light is that okay?

mmmmm, i guess you could, but i’d wait to do it on feeding day, remove a few leaves than feed her..

if it’s not a good idea i will just leave it. how many would you consider is a few? also don’t wan stress her out

Probably 5 or less, depending on the size of the plant.

It’s okay to have some larf or popcorn buds, even if it’s not desired (in fact, you may still get them even with trimming if you have large buds that block light to them).

Also, heading into week 6 might be too late to make those lower buds any bigger / better than they already are. I personally wouldn’t, but listen to @GNick55

that makes sense i definitely want these colas i have now to get fatter. first time i’ve had a grow look this good. despite all the issue i had in the beginning of this thread
