I started this thread today 20 days after flipping to flowering to keep it simple and not bore everyone. I will backtrack to give past details and tips on how I got here. These plants had a 40 day veg time before flipping. IF anyone wants to test my honesty just ask me to display an object like a pen, can, or lighter to show these plants are growing live. This room 6x6 is full now and I still have 50 days to go. Here's what its looks like now,.

The main tops pushed upwards too fast so I tied them down because they were pushing the lights away from the plant canopy. Only bend them after a good watering to keep them from snapping. Here's a photo of the lights over the canopy.

Going back to the start, I plant the seed directly into Fox Farms Ocean Forest in dixie cups. I weigh the dixie cups before and after watering and write the dry and wet weights down on the top of the cups. That way can keep from over or under-watering for the fastest growing. NOTE I only use Rainwater in the beginning from germination to one-gallon pots. Rainwater only with these plants until flowering.

After up-potting into the flowering containers I start feeding with Gen Hyrdo Flora series. Note: I change the water from Rain-water to RO water after the up-potting and feed with every watering a low ppm of fertilizer. The RO has to be fortified with cal mag at this point on.

When feeding I use the feeding chart given by GH manufacturer. However, I use less than they recommend because I feed with every watering to maintain EC and pH constancy in the root zone. The average ppm going in is 300 counting cal mag in RO water. When the nutrient table changes, I change with it and keep the manufacturer's recommendation but diluted by 50%. The intake pH is 6.2 every time. I don't like or recommend using Lucas Formula with this type grow.

I have 2 feed sources that feed the plants the Foxfarms organic core in the middle of the Promix and the low-dose feed I give the plants with every watering. Note : This is very important, I never pour water over the center core only around the edges over the pro mix hp. .

Let your sprouts get big before you up-pot them because they will drown in larger pots. Weigh your cups for the best water maintenance. Keeping the container small in the beginning is the best way to water management. The starting soil is Fox Farms water only. Pro mix is not a water-only potting mix. Promix has to be fed a low ppm.

I take 5 gallons of RO and add 6 to 8 MLS of cal mag. and let it set for 24 hrs. The starting ppm is in the 80s. I take that water and add GH fertilizer at 50% with 2 MLS of acid. It yields about 300 to 400 ppm of water with a 6.2 pH. I always warm up my intake water to over 74F or 23C by putting a pot of water on the stove and bringing it to a boil. I then take the pot and dip into the intake water to warm it up. Here's a photo of what happens when I use cold water.

How cold is that water?

This reminds me of why I hated taking pics under HPS -- everything in the light looks yellow, everything in the shadows looks green.

You may want to rethink your timing on transplanting. Instead of developing roots, your seedlings have released a hormone that causes rapid stem cell elongation in an effort to get more light. Add some moistened (not wet) medium to support the spindly stems, increase light and let the root system develop for 5-7 days. Think about transplanting when you get the first multi-leafed node. Good luck.

So you mean to tell us that having half of your leaves yellowed before the 3 week mark isn't a sign of genius growing techniques?

Your plants don't look good bro. I water with cold water from the tap way up north, no issues, something else is up with your plant. Watering only around the sides of pot and not your "organic core", dumb advice. Being humble is a trait that will take you far.

Trixie,
I do not mean you any disrespect but I have to be honest. I kind of thought you has some pretty crazy ideas about things from the first few posts I saw of yours. Now I have seen your plants and how you grow and I have to be 100 percent honest. I think it would be best if you considered asking for advise rather than giving it. It is pretty clear you do not have the understanding of the plant you seem to think you have. Again I mean you not disrespect it is just your grow looks like it could use some help. Maybe you could seek out the advise of an expert like @Aqua Man
