do you know if your harvesting this by march 10,11?.. or letting it go as long as needed?

guess you got a couple days before watering,

i mean whenever we collectively think it’s done i’m up for whatever

okay i will leave those and wait till next feeding and see if the leaves change

Since weed is an annual plant it has a finite life span. When the plant is in flower, depending on the stage of flowering, the leaves will yellow as the flowers approach maturity.
okay that’s makes sense it is in its 7th week of flower it’ll be 8 on monday

Just got home and caught up, he was asking when the seed breeder says it should be done.

Im guessing you have 2 or 3 weeks left, which should be okay
i’m not sure actually my friend gave me these seeds he got from someone

i’m unsure i know when the trichomes are milky then it’s done right?
Yes. Really more the majority but it also depends on the effect you want your weed to have. Typically, if you harvest when most of the trichomes are milky and a few are still semi clear but almost no amber, you'll get a more uplifting effect whereas if you wait and let the trichomes amber then the effect will be more couch lock so if you want weed for insomnia you want to leave them a little longer and let the trichomes amber up a bit.

okay i’ve actually never seen the amber trichomes, does it depend on strain that determines amber or milky?

My last grow was some Gorilla Glue. I chopped them down when they looked like this:

Flower closeup

As you can see there is very little ambering since I wanted some more uplifting day smoke. Had I left them another week or so the weed would have been a little more couch lock.

yeah i have 2 actually
You can get a close up look to see how the trichome development is coming along and determine when harvest is approaching.

You want to look at the bracts, like GS said, but if I'm going for a good couch lock I check for amber trichs in the flower. Not a lot but like maybe 15% on the flower itself.
