Ya We had a blast, no GPS maps back then I went with maps and compass got lost a bunch and don't speak much Spanish....

Locals were easy to deal with though all smiles and eager to help, over eager sometimes when booze was involved lol we picked up hitch hikers in the back of the truck where ever we saw them, just to confirm the way we were going was correct. they'd just hop in the back.....no road signs except on main roads........

We picked up An old guy out in the boonies with a machete and an old cloth bag. I swear he looked like Juan Valadez himself......( old tv commercial coffee guy ) He couldn't climb into the back so my son and I hopped out and gave him a lift into the back of the truck........

No English just smiles a confirmation with a nod that we were going in the right direction and a tap tap tap with his machete on the side of the truck when he wanted out about 10 miles down the road on a real rough 4x4 only road, he disappeared into the jungle on a small path way.

Funny that one old guy still sticks in my brain, I've said since then we' pick up old Juan himself😄

2 days? we're on the same schedule....do you intend on another net on top? I was thinking I may have to, I don't know how I'll handle stretching as is......I've not done such a large scrog before so I'm watching you and we look pretty even.......even if mine is a 3.5 x 5' ...lol
Just to add a bit of reasons I smoke a lot.....Called the plumber again to fix the leak they left behind that they said they'd fix last week...Called yesterday oh sorry ya...we'll be there tomorrow morning there's a storm coming we want to be at it early......I was up early in anticipation...its now 1 pm.....smoke one I need 2...🤬

Looking pretty! As for the net, I’ll drop one atop when and if the bud hits nine inches tall. Seeing how these genetics hit four feet in nine weeks, I’d say yes I will. If I don’t , the buds become top heavy and will fall over! It took three of us to lower the table on these girls.
What we have here is a tandem grow! Be interesting to see where we are at what time period. I have never grown a single strain that I currently have going, so it’s going to be interesting.
Living here I can appreciate everything you say about these repairmen. I just chalk that up to living in a remote area with zero neighbors. I’ve grown used to it and try not to let it piss me off. I just smoke another and wait… *sigh*
How many plants you have in there and what ya growing?

8......3 AK47/Blackberry Kush....2 Gsc...1 GG...2 Gelato

Almost 3pm still no plumbers or phone call.....no snow yet either......inconsiderate #.%&@#......Todays is shopping day for us but no we'll wait for the plumbers then go........I called....no answer either.....to fix their fk up just a leak but still .......There goes our 30% off day at V. V. our favorite walmart sized second hand store...important for us seniors....lol.....an outing......lol

I'll watch your lead...I've another net....lead on master scrogger........

My job today sucks too! I had two cats spayed a week ago, so I had to close off the upstairs to keep the two females apart. My female would have had that one for dinner. So today, before I allow the house kitty back downstairs to keep my spoiled brat house kitty from going rogue and deciding to mark over the other cats scent, I am taxed with tearing down cages, odor neutralizers, mopping floors vacuuming rugs, etc. on and on… the other cat never made the first mess. But I know my cat. She will get even.
The entire lower floor, 1500 glorious feet. Two spray bottles of angry orange a very effective odor neutralizer and bleach water. I’d rather cuss. Will have it all to do again in two weeks! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
PS..anytime you get to thinking I’m terribly intelligent.. just know, I have all white tile and I’m a real dumbass!

We have 3 male cats and we had to get them all spade,,,They all had their spray bouts and stunk up the house. My guy Qnight wiggles his ass in spray mode down here in my grow room all the time for some reason...nothing comes out he's just in happy mode.

Sounds like you were there a few years after I had gone for the first time.

Got tons of stories like yours in CR. The first time I went to CR I went with some old surf buddies. We camped on the beach and drove around the country in an Isuzu Trooper 4x4. We were driving down the west coast of CR when we stopped to grab a drink and a bite from one of the local snack shacks that you see along the dirt road. As we stood there eating and drinking this old man on a beach cruiser bike comes cruising through. I notice him leaning over trying to grab something off the road while he's still riding his bike. There was a giant iguana sunning itself on the side of the road and he just cruised by and grabbed it by the neck, while still riding, and rode off with the thing trying to wiggle out of his grip. We just looked at each other with our mouths open and I asked the lady at the shack what he was going to do with it(I speak fluent Spanish). She said he lived in a shack down by the beach and he skins and eats them and sells the iguana skins to tourist!

Yep! When I was in high school they had a surf program that replaced P.E. The coaches would train us on how to contest surf but one of the first lessons we learned was how to deal with the ocean when sketchy situations arrive. That was one of the lessons we learned. Don't worry how far or fast you're being carried out just keep swimming sideways to the current and you'll get out of it.

Once you know what to look for, how the waves interact on the beach. How rip tides form. You want to find those rip tides to get past the surf zone! Lol. 👍 😀

Too unpredictable. On the east coast of CR heading south there is a little town called Puerto Viejo. There is a surf spot called Salsa Brava. It has a reef bottom. It was pumping so trying to paddle straight into it was a no go. I tried to catch the riptide and got swept into the impact zone and got hammered against the reef as wave after wave kept raking me across the reef.

Took me a week to heal from all the reef rash I got getting dragged across the reef. Thankfully Beer and weed are not in short supply in CR.

Pura Vida!!🤙

What we called Boogie Boarding or body surfing on Fire Island, which is like a barrier reef off the east coast of Long Island.....I spent half my childhood summers riding waves......the risks I took......that can be pretty rough out there.
