It is but gets old after a while. Trust me. I know. I'm a lazy ass so I don't like having to do something that a machine can do for me.

This is more a sub system of my auto irrigate system. I have a timer running the evacuation system, that's what I call my dollar store setup, that turns on 15 minutes after my auto irrigate shuts off. Gives the pots time to run off so that no remaining solution stays in the bottom of the catch.

I set my timer for however many minutes I need to remove all run off from catch and have wet/dry vac drain out to a refrigerator condensate pump to pump run off into my garden. No need to drain wet/dry manually and I get some nice veggies at the end of the season!!

I like using Bucket Head wet/drys for this as they're cheap and fit on any 5 gallon bucket so drilling holes in buckets is no big deal!!!

Well that sucks. Double the price & out of stock everywhere and online. Wonder if we have something like it local...

I used to watch Red Green as a kid too... we had antenna and like 3 or 4 channels, and two were Canadian cause we'reso close, CTV and CBC... plus PBS and NBC local. "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." 🤣

This was my saturday morning jam in my kid days!!! 😁

Hahaha...

Theme song is running through my head now...

HR pufnstuf who’s your friend when things get ruff?

Original magic dragon...hahaha

The talking flute was a little creepy though.

Don’t really do anything online but Amazon. And that’s through friend or son.

I still go to local stores. I have every big box store within 15 minutes or less of my home. Until flu I could get anything I wanted with in walking distance. Now, not so much.

One of us...

We need a thread with the warning “ You must be born in the 1960’s or earlier to understand the following” warning. 🤣

Another alternative but they're sold out.

I did check our Walmart online, OOS.

I haven’t gone in our store in over a decade. Not the atmosphere I like to be in.

Canadian Tire, Princess Auto, most hardware stores are the ones I mainly go to these days.

I’m going to keep my eye out for this at home depot though. Son fried my old one.

I’ve been up since 4:30am. Rains been getting stronger all morning.

We just finished getting hail and now we’re getting lots of thunder but only a little lightning, that I can see.

Hospital called my wife and son to come in this morning.

Son’s still in bed, he didn’t finish until midnight, seems he’s not interested in doing another shift right now.

Must have been a lot of sick calls this morning.

Well ya know I had to give you a bit of grief over your pic post with no pics! 🤣
Sorry to hear your not feeling well. It’s that time of the year for sure, and the pollen counts here are over the moon! I’ve been expanding my time outside daily just so my system can deal with it. Truth be told I’ve been sucking down copious amounts of local honey laced with sativa trying to fight the allergy stuff.
Here’s hoping you are back in tip top shape soon!
I ❤️ surprises!!!
We are so fortunate to have a bee keeper not more than 2000 yards from our home. A couple small rolling hills separate us. These bees regularly visit our English Garden and all the potted flowers and vegetables on our patio. They love our lilacs and wild roses and we love them.

I typically purchase enough of this honey to last us until the next season. It is delicious and just wonderful in everything.

I keep the 5 pound jars stored in our pantry. The pantry is not typical, as it is not located below the frost line, in a basement. It is a room without direct sunlight and an average temperature of around 72 degrees.

Sometimes, one or two of the jars will provide a special treat, whereby the bottom 2 inches will crystallize.

I'm not sure what this is or if it is related to his process, but we absolutely love it. Its like honey candy.

It reminds me of when we purchased a honeycomb and ate it.

So good on you CG. You are right on point, as always.

I alway sang that song and some John Denver when driving the boat after chores at the cottage. Temporary freedom. 😝

Ya, mixed bag of emotions there too bro.

Welcome back from the east coast BTW.

No coast for me, only went to Fryeburg on the Maine/New Hampshire boarder, too cold still to go to the coast yet lol.

We're going back up in a few months to enjoy the camp/cabin.

Wow, I have loved that song since it came out, yup! I’m THAT old!

Long story but I'll never walk into Canadian Tire again. I don't like being told to Get the Fuck out of here after spending $1000 on tires after walking into the garage bay during THE BIG BAD BUG Panic looking for my car. I had a guy wanting to fight me all angry and yelling and I don't take no shit so it got a bit heated. I contacted management about it and they ignored me so fkem, they have nothing I need that can't be bought elsewhere.

If I got an asshat or they pulled that crap where they hide shit on sale I’d fire off an email to head office on Yong St. Got pretty good service after that.

Now that it’s no longer Canadian owned it’s gone to shit here. Scrapped the money just to collect more info and give back less. Princess auto is better but more farm friendly. No home appliances. 🤣
