you know one thing i hope is that in these hash making countries is hopefully some villagers keep it “original” meaning growing and making hashish the way they have been doing it for years..
but for years westerners have been giving farmers or making deals too grow higher producing strains and teaching them bubble washing which is ruining the whole experience to me.. i even see some of this product here in canada and tried it and it’s no where near what it used to be..
hope the bekka valley stays old school..
I think it will, at least for a while. When newer generations take over, if they have the means, they might industrialize it a bit more, but I think we will always be able to find good hash, just at higher price than now x_x

the uv light must increase trichomes, if not definitely terpenes than, as that i believe terpenes a plant can increase or change depending on the stress/growing conditions..

My thought was that it increases THC content in the trichs that are there.

In my setups, I had some plants just 2 inches from the bulb. I would have expected those buds to have more trichs than those further away, but I didn't see that.

I have a feeling the only way you're going to be able to pull that off is to grow a long beard and hop on a plane to Afghanistan.

hey growers.. firstly this is just something that has been on my mind for a while now but i was waiting for the answer to come to me, haha..
why is it and you’ll see it all the time in frosty flowers that it’s the tiny colas with coated sugar/fan leaves?
why wouldn’t you just grow “proper” size buds so that the plant can contain all her trichomes mostly on the buds instead of having to use her fan leaves? just saying seems like a waste to me, can’t sell fan leaves? smoke them?..
to me even though most of those pics look pretty it’s not what i would want..
anyhoo just wondering..
To me it seems like the frostiest buds are on the middle of the plant with more shade- about 8-12" below the tops.

this was a random seed dont know the strain but wow its frosty!! outdoor grow

Usually, when you have that massive amount of trichs on leaves, there are also a lot of trichs on the flowers.

But what I've found is that the frostiest looking plants I have in a grow -- the ones that make the sugar coated bud pics -- are only rarely the best plant in the grow, potency-wise.

For example, a couple of grow ago, I grew a couple of Arise females. They were very sticky if you touched them, but they didn't look frosty in pictures. The trichs seemed small, so they weren't nearly as noticeable as they were on a plant from LIT seeds (Cinnamon Rollz). They looked like average plants, by comparison. Well, they turned out to be about the most potent plants I ever grew. The frost monsters in the grow were also good, but Arise was just in a class by itself.
Arise? You caught my attention, tell me more about those plants
