I see lots sof white pistols on there. it's not ready yet. It's going to bulk up some more if you let it grow for a while.
Too be honest, that looks like it needs 2-3 maybe 5 weeks yet.I'm always unsure as to when to harvest. It looks very amber in person but only on certain colas. I don't want to wait too long but i have no idea was 70% amber truly means if that makes sense. Any help or hints would be appreciated. Thx.

You should have 2 to 3 weeks to goAre you saying the trichomes are amber?
It looks 2 to 3 weeks away in the photos.
How long in flower?
Ok. Thanks. I'm thinking of waiting at least 2 more weeks.I see lots sof white pistols on there. it's not ready yet. It's going to bulk up some more if you let it grow for a while.
Wow. 5?! I'm patient so thats cool. I just want to be able to get it right and get better at deciphering when it "time".Too be honest, that looks like it needs 2-3 maybe 5 weeks yet.
Mostly white hairs with , umm I can’t see them , no swelling.
Enjoy and good luck
If you want to get it right you want to buy a magnifying scope. Something like thisWow. 5?! I'm patient so thats cool. I just want to be able to get it right and get better at deciphering when it "time".

I do enjoy the journey. I think its just amazing what can happen from one tiny seed. Here are some pics i took about an hour ago...Patients is the biggest thing for any indoor grower.
As some have stated , the calyx begins to swell and on some , like @Trustfall many genetics.
Check his thread out.
Every plant looks different, but do a very similar thing.
There is so much potential in flowers at the end , you don’t want to miss it.
I'll check that out when I get back home. I hope not. SmjWell that pic shows more swelling.
Are those calyx’s soft , like there not sporting any offspring?

That's the shittiest limerick I've ever read LMAOBanana;
Full Green: Not ripe: Chalky, no taste.
Green at the top, yellow body: I'd eat it.
Full bright yellow body, best taste: Ripe.
Brown spots: Overripe.
Plant;
White cunt hairs: Unripe.
Clear oil: Unripe.
Brown cunt hairs: Ripe.
Cloudy oil: Ripe.
Gold/engine oil colored oil: Overripe.
Raggedge Pick:
3/4 brown to 1/4 white cunt hairs: Pick.
7/8 Cloudy, the rest gold in color: Pick.
End of season: Pull no matter what before first rain.
You can get amber by touching the buds during flower. You break them.Ok thank you. I see the pistils are still white but the amber color throws me off. I guess i need to pick a side. Lol.
I'm running 3 plants. Different weeks but all in flower. I may try that next time. The learning curve with these plants is alot! I'm enjoying the adventure. Lol. Cant learn without making some mistakesLooking good tho. It is a bit that is considered. How many plants are you running? Maybe try to do one at the "peak" time then let one go for a bit longer and see if you notice a diffrence either way.
They look great!!. I'm so jealous!! I cant get my temps and humidity right for mine to change colors. Smh. I have a magnifying glass but i think i need a better one. I was told i need one that goes like 60x or more.I’m right where you’re at bro. I’m week 6 day 3 into my flower and I would say I have a few weeks to go my trichs aren’t even cloudy yet. Def invest in a microscope to check your tricks for a more accurate harvest time.
I'm new, 3rd post, and about to have my 3rd harvest.. Came here looking for the same information.70% amber? Generally you want between 10-20% amber at harvest. 70% man that sounds like 1 hit and pass the fuck out till the next day
If I haven't said it before, Howdy, and welcome to the Farm!
Yeah generally you want all your trichomes to be cloudy and not clear, with 10 to 20% amber trichomes, that's usually the queue for chop time.
