@Learningdetroit , whats the meter read on fresh cuttings?
I’ve never actually tested it on a fresh cut since i know its wet.

I just went out and put the meter on a still grounded plant and it read anywhere from 25 / 35% on the different parts I tested. There could be some variables there that are not accounted for as it’s been super wet the past few days.

———————————————
I know you didn’t ask about any of this but it’s More stuff regarding moisture meters that I’m stealing I feel could interest or help people.

Drying ends: 14-15%

Curing ends: 11-12%

Pleasant smoke: 10-12%

Harsh dry smoke: 10% or less

Moisture content and relative humidity are two different things.

Moisture content is the amount of water in a material.

Relative humidity measures water vapor in the air at a specific temperature.

Water Activity is equal to Relative Humidity, which is dependent on temperature. You want to worry about water activity while drying, not curing.

WA of 0.6 or less is ideal. All to avoid mold and bacteria, and limit terpene degradation.

Definately a MASTER GARDENER to be able to grow those beauties in upper Michigan. The weather has been and will be so crappy the next 10 days I wish you all the luck in the world.
Nope. Learning, just like the rest of us. Thc farmer is the place to be. There are some real intellects here. And also some of the top breeders are here. Now and then you see them comment. Love thc farmer!

Beautiful! How do you keep your greenhouse cool in the summer? Assuming of course that you keep your plants in there.

Your shaya was very cold and rainy. Perfect time to go harvest lol. I've got the cold get into my bones. You know I think I'm surpassed my goal for the year. I wanted to at least bring in 15 lb. My gelato wants. I hung it up and it all dry and I bucked everything was roughly about 8 lb. The triple h's that I harvested was double what I had with the gelato. Got 2 lb of the lemon OG and I got roughly about a pound and a half upwards of 2 lb off of the future number one. And I'm going to guesstimate once everything is dry and bucked. I'll probably have closer to 10 lb to 12 lb of the HHH. I can't find a description online of what the triple h was supposed to be bread with, but I am pretty sure there is a cheese strain in it. Because that's all you smell. When you go down there is cheese. Smells lovely. I'm just not used to the cheese strains. I don't remember the triple h's smelling that way last year, but this year they definitely have a cheese strain smell.

but junk..
stuff like this is a lot of trichomes without the heads, just stalks..
I’ve seen this before and I’m not sure why it happens can somebody chime in on possible causes for this. Shaking water off the buds after a rain to vigorously? Rough handling ? Combination of cold temps and handling
