Top dressing and not baking her should help her turn around.

I like me some Duracells😜 don't mind if the drapes dont match the carpets.... but I placed the 4 packets of pollen I had left in a bag, let it sit on that branch for 3 hours till lights off and sprayed the bejeezus out of everything. Totally screwed up my rh, especially since it's been wt her locally.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Season's Greetings from the 2Water family to you and yours!

I figured since I have a moment in the holiday madness, I'll give you guys more of an incite on why I'm growing and what my plans are.

I have been struggling with depression and PTSD for some time now. Add to that a life full of hard living, and I have aches and pains physically, mentally, and emotionally that I need to take care of daily. I have been smoking over a quarter of a century, and since "legalization" here in California, I have been trying to research strains and genetic profiles to see what gels with my wife and my own needs.

I started looking into growing after speaking with my therapist, he suggested I needed a hobby and since I take cannabis medically, why not. Honestly, with all of the UPS and downs of growing, it has been a godsend. That, plus finding THCFARMER has helped me both as a grower, but from the friendships I have made, am making.

Through my research and from speaking with other growers, I am of the firm belief that all cannabis consumers can and should grow their own. There is really no need for commercial cannabis except for maybe social recreational users who do not consume regularly. Currently I am growing in two 3x3x6ft tents in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our electricity costs are about $250 dollars a month over what we usually used before hand, so it is below the cost of what we were spending from the dispensary.

I also am a firm believer that everyone's endocannabinoid system is different, and we should all find and breeding strains that work for ourselves. Think about it, in a world of legal cannabis, a population of home growers all creating personalized strains. Imagine the possibilities! So, in that note, I am setting myself on a lifelong journey (atleast 5 years worth) I have mapped out already.

I intend to document this journey as I create and stabilize 2 new strains. One will be a poly-hybrid, the other will be a back cross of sorts, both will be feminized. What is in tents currently are the precursor to the first strain. Here are my first two ideas:

Sundrops:
Canuk seeds Trainwreck #7x MACdawg Greenpoint seeds
MACdawg = MAC 1 caps cut x JJNYC Stardawg.
Canuk Trainwreck = Mexican/Thai/Afghan

The F.OG (Fuchi OG):
2Water's Strawberry Fantasy F2 x (Canuk seeds Trainwreck #6 x Bodhi seeds Strawberry Fantasy #12
Strawberry Fantasy = Larry OG x Strawberry Milk (Bodhi)

The goal is to stabilize all strains to a third generation feminized line using the 1-2-1 method I devised in my head. Phenohunt initial F1 cross for P1 and self her. That is the (1), then you phenohunt from next generation the top 2 plants that match or exceed P1. That is now (1-2), you now phenohunt the best example in third generation of your strain and self her one more time (1-2-1) to produce stabilized feminized seeds.

I will be confining my phenohunts to the legal growing limits for recreational cannabis in California. That is 12 plants in veg and 6 in Flower. I will germinate 12 seeds and select the best 6 to flower. I will take clones of each before flip and will keep the best after curing and smoking. I will do that 4 times, then run all 4 keepers together for one final evaluation. Best will be selfed, in second generation the best will be reversed to number two. This will essentially allow for phenohunting 48 plants per generation.

Here is the start, hope you enjoy the ride with me.

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!
I’m glad this place and growing is the ticket for sanity. Same here. πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ€‘

Appreciate your insights man, and Merry Christmas! I'm a long time vegetable gardener and pro organic farmer. Aside from growing the strains that work for you, I very much believe that the plants that you personally grow will adjust themselves to the needs of you and your family.

I have a personal story on what caused me to adopt that belief. I'll make a post/thread about it sometime :)

Oh, I want to get to the point where I'm growing all my own everything πŸ˜‰ we as a society need to de-urbanize. Use the technology we have and return to an agricultural society. Not for commercial gain, for one's own sustenance.

I'm with you 100%. I am about to hit the dry period of not having any of my own produce for almost 3 straight months. Sucks. My wife (who admittedly does all the grocery shopping..) rarely can stomach buying any produce at the grocery store. Most of it is water with traces of poison in produce form, though I'll grant that the fiber is still there. Lots of deer meat to get through the winter :))

Love venison, jerky all of the deer. 🦌
We hate paying for produce too. We grow as much as we can indoor in the off season too.

We're going to start doing year round production next winter. I like the break from farming that winter brings so we'll keep it super small, just for us, one or two restaurants and the local health food store.
