So, you think it just stayed wet too long and rotted like anything else would?
How do I deal with it? Just keep the flowers as dry as possible?
Outdoor is always hit or miss! (depending on where you live this is plus or minus) The only way to overcome this to have more Plants in the ground, at multiple locations, also choosing Plants that are Bred for outdoor, and are known to be more resistant to molds. In any case you will always have some loss outdoor from the big 3 (insect, weather, disease) Hoop Houses are great! and fairly priced. Good Luck!

Indoor were gonna be priced out pretty soon! - energy costs are not improving! But then again, We get what we Vote for !!!

She’s got the, mo plants is bettah, Part covered!😂 Dead and dying plant material fluoresces yellow under UV! Makes it easy to zero in on trouble Spots. Probably more useful in flour! That’s what I use it for. But in veg, it might give you early warning to Septoria, p.m., stalk Problems, etc.

GG4's resin heads fluoresce dimly orange under UV light. Some other plants ive had do sometimes, but GG4 always would, So do most concentrates and high quality hash.

You can put a dispensary cart under UV and determine if its an actual cannabis extract or a recombined manufactured mixture. Real extracts fluoresce dimly orange, reassembled ones with synthetic terps usually fluoresce bright green/yellow.

You'd be surprised how many dispensaries lie about the authenticity and quality of their concentrate products. In 2024, good rule of thumb is "all of them". So far im finding more genuine concentrates from the "Legal hemp thc-a flower" companies in TN then i ever did from any dispensaries in KC or Michigan. I put every concentrate product i obtain under a strong black light that lives near my vinyl record wall.

If your wax doesnt fluoresce orange, it wasnt extracted from a cannabis plant. It was manufactured, probably with cheaply synthesized terpenes and THC-a crystal/powder synthesized from CBD. Ive made soooooooo muuuuuuuuch wax, and every single pull, from every batch, of any strain, regardless of color or end quality, fluoresced dimly orange. Always, regardless of terp content or profile, no exceptions.

Fun facts lmfao.

If I remember right, the healthy bud, on the plant, had kind of a dull, reddish tinge to it! Was easy to tell the difference between healthy and unhealthy! And when you have a lot of bud to cover these things, come in handy! And makes inspecting the interior of the plant a breeze!

i already ordered one lol. Gonna be super handy for many things tbh.

Yea that red tinge is the dim orange im talking about. Just a difference in eyes at low light i bet. The higher the plant's overall resin content, the more the resin heads will glow under UV. Ive had some dryer kiefier flowers that were still super frosty offer no dim orange glow lol.

My outdoor growing golden rule:

Do not under any circumstances let yourself fall in love with an individual plant, unless you already have clones or a mother plant inside 🤣 🤣 You will make yourself suffer inside your own head far less that way.

Oh woops, genuine accidental double post lmao.
