i use the 20-20-20 for veg. I like being able to slow my plants way back without excess deficiency, and i like being able to boost them into explosive growth without N tox.

N tox will stall a plant but most can take a little mineral burn here and there and barely even flinch.

I run the 20-20-20 until the end of stretch usually. Then i start tinkering with specific ratios for specific plants. Because im a crazy person that tends to have like a dozen or more unique plants going in clone at a given time with a single veg setup and two small flowering tents.

The high n low P feeds do tend to veg plants out a little faster, but you cant dial em back much without deficiency, and they take longer to recover from it once it expresses then even ratios.

You can even use the 202020 jacks as a foliar feed to help keep plants happy while diagnosing issues. And it can help turn them around once its corrected a lot quicker as a foliar too.

I just keep coming back to the even ratios for veg because my plants just look happier with it. And it better suits my style of growing when it comes to veg.

It takes a TON of even ratio feed to burn a vegging plant too. Give em more and they just kinda grow faster, even if they get a little mineral burn. They never N tox and stall out.
I’ll have to pay attention to that, I have the Pushin-P high Phos bran that just arrived yesterday, I do plan to go light on it as the fish bone meal in it is also in the craft bend

YEP! : ) I emailed them a random newb question last year and they got back to within a day! : )

That’s awesome about the shipping! That shit adds up quick! Or is just a chunk of change! ie your order had it not been free shipping!

Luckily I picked up the soil during new years so they had the new years 2025 discount going so instead of $60 a bag for the dominion I paid $54 x 6each then the light recipe was $43 a bag and I paid $38 x 4 the build a soil shipping was $16.50 I’m not 100% sure on pricing but I know I shipped a 40lb toy to my neice from NY to Mass. and it was $50 in shipping so I could only imagine what 450lbs would cost to ship (10x bags at 45lbs a bag) plus the other stuff lol

And that dosent include the build a flower, the bags, the other amendments I’ve bought,

I'm kinda settling into using the jacks 10-30-20 spiked with greenleafs's pk booster post stretch. Simple 1:1 ratio.

Comes out to a 5-25-29 NPK value.

I'll be switching that up quite a bit for the peaceblasters on future runs though. They want less N more calcium. They seem pretty dialed in (finally) on trace nitrate based cal-mag + cal bicarbonate and PK booster lol

More porn! Everyone loves a little late night porn.

I have got that last year also per Mikedins recommendation: ) I plan on using the shit out of this summer on the veggies! : )
I swear besides the Alaska fish fertilizer 2x a week for the first 4 weeks while establishing in and rooting my normal soil amending is

And I’ll have to verify this

But per 5 gallon sized hole,

I remove the soil to make a hole about the size of a 5 gallon bucket

Each hole gets
5tbs Tru organics or jobes organics tomato and vegetable
2tbs fish bone meal
2tbs kelp meal
1tbs epsom
And most importantly I mix about half the volume of the soil with half broken down leaves from my compost pile from a last fall

Then about a month after planting I top dress with 2tbs bone meal, or fish bone meal and I’ll hit em again with the Tru or Jobes same amount 5tbs

Earthworm castings are great to add alms well but if your soil is healthy and has lots of organics to be ate (those leaves coming into play) those worms will come up and be there making all the castings you could want

Last year I ran out of the Tru and switched to the Jobes for the 2nd half of the garden and the difference was unnoticeable

Gunna skip the 4 lb bags this year and just go straight for the 25lb bag for $40 vs the 4lb bags for $12

Once you add that amendment mix.. it’s water only till harvest

I thought I was replying to TOGY or McFly lol. You’re the reason I got a few tubs of the 20-20-20 hahaha! Can’t wait to feed things this summer!

That’s an awesome mix! I’m excited to try and get a couple extra things for if I can get a decent outdoor thing going.

that jobes is great stuff. love it. i even use it in my indoor soil mixes (in pretty extreme moderation, i use it to establish some nice healthy soil organisms. Prefer it to any biological inoculant or dried mycorrhizae ive used. )

ive def had this conversation with ya before lol

For anyone who may be curious now, im a mixed bag grower lol. I create a live organic buffer for the benefits with PH stability that come with it dialed in properly, and so i can be an overall lazy and inconsistent plant dad.. Theres usually a small handful of that jobes and a sometimes composts in that bodged soil mix i mentioned earlier lol. I mix it mild enough that i can still supplement a salt feed regiment on top without salt buildups or lockout. My plants rarely see more then 600ppm unless im recovering something from deficiency or flush after a lockout or something. I tend to just feed my flowering plants every single feeding, with a small amount of soil drainage, and usually a consistent 350-500 ppm.

Organic and synthetic arent actually mutually exclusive. Honestly, properly combining the two is where my best results have come indoors.

Outdoors im pure natural organics. Fresh goat manures, natural loams and accumulated minerals, composts. Tbh if i can't grow weed the way a Shepard in the hindu-kush mountains did 1000 years ago, i kinda just dont outdoors lmao.

I love gardening time haha

Kinda an idea of how it starts and how it turns out first pic is one I passed by, it’s what I would usually use in my “organic” runs before I switched to the living soil, that was actually the mix for my one gallon challenge plant with the “copious” or cement shoes x GP x Okie

Speaking of nuns how about some Joey Diaz 🤣
I can truly relate, I went to Catholic high school
for a year and a half. Them fuckers really were
evil & sadistic, I can attest to it 1st hand.

I'm with George Carlin, he worshiped the sun;
I worship the Ganja. He prayed to Joe Peshi...
fuck yeah, I can get behind that... 🤜 🤣

Yes! In fact I ran some in my outdoor cali blues run! She loved it, I cant remember but I believe I may have used some in the last run of kahuna 3 I’ll have to go pull notes when I get time

Here’s the cali blues outdoor last year, This is a combo of my usual organic amendments Gaia, azomite, fish bone meal the whole 9, plus the Jobes on top of it

They were defenitly mag hungry, but that Pheno was always mag hungry lol

my next 4x4 victim as soon
as soon as Betty Lou dries
out.

Pics don't do her justice, she
is easily 4' tall & 4' wide.

I'll take a couple clones,
(for a new mother) then
pop her in the 4x4, give
her a couple weeks veg
to acclimate to the big
720w, no name auction
find light, fill out a net
& recover from super
cropping. And voila -
Bobs your uncle 😁💨

It stinks for ages.yea poop is worst than all best way to get mold and not even know it until its late

Anybody grow tomatoes in a tent? I'm assuming the fans and me giving the stem a good shake is enough to pollinate them. Think I should get in there with a little paint brush?

@Mikedin i know you start all of yours indoors, ever leave one to flower?
