I have run this strain about six times now, the first and second time I had medium large sized plants with good sized kolas. The third run was a short bush full of smaller buds covered in trichomes. The fourth run was tall and lanky with kolas averaging 3-5 inches long but lots of em. The fifth run was a clone of number four alongside a seed that sprouted and stopped new growth after the third node. That plant sat in a solo cup on my desk under incandescent light used for a couple houseplants. Eventually it started putting out new growth at cotyledon leaves and exploded with new growth. So she ended up in the 3x3 in her own 7 gallon pot with living soil. Growing side by side with #5.
During this past run I got a bad infestation of thrips and spider mites, which I thought I had knocked down with several treatments of Captain Jack’s , but they came back in mid flower. I ended up using a concentrated thyme oil mixture and drenching everything then rinsing with plain water 1/2 hour later they stayed down. Ironically #6 was scrogged into the same net as #5 and was almost entirely untouched by the spider mites. Sadly I didn’t clone number six, just a couple clones of number five. If you followed me this far, I can say that I’ve seen 4 separate phenotypes of Pineapple Express at this point, and my favorite was the short bushy ultra frosty one. You might have a unicorn on your hands, time will tell when you grow that clone out. Please keep me posted, very interesting to say the least.
