Well, I had 5 seeds of the Iranian and only 1 survived. Hope it's a girl.
The Afghan is NOT the landrace one, it's an AUTO. I couldn't get any to pop. And because I have all these others, I didn't try especially hard. After 2 weeks I tossed 'em.
The Turkish seeds I have 3 survivors and the Beldia Mountain they all germinated.

Heya C just wondering if you were to use something like the liquid mycorrhizae seed inoculant if that could improve your germination? I have some coming that I’m going to experiment with in some of soil from my decomposed horse dung and just use my well water without any nutrients and see what happens. If anyone knows about this please chime in. Looks like it will be the first week in June before I have warmer weather here but that’s part of the gig. ✌️

That's a good idea.
I did sand them before putting in water, and a few did crack and start, but then stopped.
I don't have any more of those. But that's okay 'cause a have enough, really. LOL

This sounds like a great idea. I use mostly rain water, but have well water as a backup, and also grow in horse manure compost.( I have also considered practicing no till gardening)

I like to try various strains and methods outdoors. Sometimes it pays off . I will be seeding directly into the soil as soon as it warms up a bit more. I’m cheering for you @ Cpurola this year will be epic!

My starts are small but seeds will get inoculated and into garden hopefully by Monday soil is warming up I’ll treat the holes as well and see what the great north will bring. From what I’ve read so far this mycorrhiza has a proven track record I’m all in @ old chunky your way ahead of me buddy!!

I love seeing mycorrhiza in my composted soil mix. I even get a mushroom growing now an then.

Well, I looked 'em all over today and THINK I have at least 2 females. I tried to take pics of them but my phone/camera wouldn't co-operate. 🫀
Put them all outside today and the bronzing that I noticed earlier has subsided.
I still have almost 36 more Autos to transplant.

THIRTY SIX AUTOS

Calm down everyone, LOL, you know my luck with these plants and my grows.
I'm bound to do something that will probably kill at least half of them.
Then mother nature steps in and takes a few more.
Just hedging my bets. 😁
