Yeah, that’s gnarly down there! It took two years of getting the crap kicked out of me by mother nature to figure it out with her help! Now we are buddies! And I sic her on the poor slobs east of the Rockies!😂🍻 if you hit me up tomorrow, I would be glad to shoot the shit with you about it! Red Bluff, California here!👍
Yeah I have to admit I have no idea what I'm doing. I got a bit over excited with nutes early on, then I thought putting a funnel deep into them for frozen Gatorade bottles was a good idea and topped it off by buying a mister that, against everyones advice, I let spray on them during the day. They may be bouncing back a bit at 37 days despite my best efforts to kill them. Yesterday was comparatively mild and I believe we even had some early morning rain.

Back in early January we came across 36 in the dark and stayed at the Days Inn in Red Bluff. We'd been taking the scenic coast route home after visiting my 96 year old aunt up in Bend.

Then you’re familiar with the area! Try coming through in mid July! You won’t be stopping! Lol! I think you’re fighting a losing battle with your set up! In this kind of heat, you have to think a lot bigger! Probably a 35 gallon light colored fabric pot! Filled with ocean Forest and about 10 gallons of per light! Your job is to keep that route zone cool! And that can only be accomplished through evaporation! So you need a well aerated medium! Those little ones will overheat in a heartbeat! And they’re not the right color! 35 gallons gives you room to water around the outside of the pot for the cooling effect and then water the plant separately to keep it happy! Your job is to keep two trains rolling! The evaporation train for the cooling effect and the transpiration train to keep the plant happy! It’s mostly just common sense! But it’s not cheap to get started, but you can reuse the soil and it gets cheaper every year! What gets you guys down There is the monsoon moisture! The soil, evaporation slows way down, the pot heats up, the transpiration slows or stops and the plant pitches a fit! You cannot let those pots dry out and the route zone heat up! Plus, monsoonal, moisture, triggers, unbelievable bug hatches! As you’ve probably seen! We don’t have that problem up here! It’s dry all the time and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ll shut up now! Don’t hesitate to ask!😁🍻

I'm retired and mostly trying to avoid the Vegas mess, we're actually up the road on the AZ border. It's a rather sleepy area and these days I do more playing at the Elks Club than anywhere else hahha.
Do you ever watch pawn stars? The Clark County Museum curator, the beard of knowledge!Mark Patton! Well, he got his start in San Luis Obispo and he was on California’s gold! Ha ha!

Heya Chucky I just took some vids for my friend who gave me the inoculant and advice on how to use it
Looking sweet! It’s that time of year for them to take off! You really gotta watch your step around there. Be great if those autos paid off well! Looks like they’re moving right along! I’ve heard dried horse manure can work pretty good! Cbrian and eternal sun use it I think! That operation doesn’t look like you’re running out of gas! Looks like you’re firing on all eight!😁👍

Instead of replacing the worn drive wheels on the Honda I went with retreading with a chopped up mountain bike tire! Hopefully these nobbies will pull me up the hill instead of me muscling the damn thing up! Might hold its line better when mowing sideways across the steep hill! Never know till you try! And it cost less than half as much as OEM replacement wheels! For anyone who’s drive wheels have turned into slicks!😀🍻

Problem is the new wheels which I have replaced once are just hard plastic with grooves cut in them and they don’t have any traction anyway! They’re fine for a nice flat yard! I think we might be cooking with gas here! I’ve got Hills to mow where I get a running head start and just ram it as high up on the hill as I can get it and try not to let it run over me when it’s coming back down! These wheels will help with that! Steep Hills!😂🍻 the OEM replacements cost 40 or 50 bucks a pair! And aren’t worth a shit right out of the box! There isn’t a shred of rubber on a Honda lawnmower wheel! All plastic! Love the mowers, but the wheels suck!
