And it's all the same, always the same.Looks like @superchola has spammed this thread too!!! Ridiculous![]()
I have always pretty much been an indoor grower but would be interested in growing outdoors. Its my understanding that plants should not go outdoors until after Mothers Day due to the “Plant Perceivable Light” is not enough to keep it from flowering until after that.OOOOOoooKay. So,
Today was 70+ degrees, really has me ready to get outside and start working in the garden!
I am going to try not to get too carried away...
What are some techniques that can be utilized for outdoor plants? I have seen pictures of old timers with 15/20 foot plants. I would go insane trying to trim an amount of that nature but, I would like to do it just once!
If any one has ideas or suggestions, please, let's discuss it!
Hey F1 and Merc, I'm in suburban northern Va and I've been growing 2 or 3 feminized plants outside each summer since 2020. I'm lucky to have a space in my back yard that gets sun early morning till late afternoon. I think that's a big factor for getting big plants.Maybe grow in the bottom half of a 55 gallon plastic barrel in a wagon so you could wheel them into shelter during a storm or inside a 3-4 foot in diameter chicken wire cage that’s tall as hell and some way to cover it if need be?
Nine oz from a 2X4 does not sound so bad and could easily be the variety. Hows the early sample smoke? As long as it puts a smile on your face your golden. Im at day 31 on my Mimosa Cake Autos by Fast Buds. The last time I grew these I only did 17 ounces in a 4X4. At 30 days in they were drinking a lot more than there sisters are now even though these seem to be a bit larger, I dont get it. About another 55 days and I can compare the two runs. Here's the harvest from the Blueberry pancakes scrog. These buds smell really good and they have a nice purple color but I didn't get a whole hell of a lot out of it. Just nine ounces after 9 days drying. Similar outcome as last summer when I grew it outside.
But this grow the temps were between 65f and 70f in my basement and last summer tomato worms got into the buds and I had to harvest early so not sure really if it's the variety or the environment that limits the harvest.
They look nice and bushy. Did you top them or did they do that on their own?Nine oz from a 2X4 does not sound so bad and could easily be the variety. Hows the early sample smoke?
